Hello Atwood Earnest. The #2 feature is only available on the cordless phones so you can block when you are in other parts of your property. The reason it is not on the base unit is because the Block Button is next to the phone. For the numbers showing twice please see below. The most common causes are systems like TV systems that connect to the line or have Caller ID on the TV, Fax machines, unfiltered router/modems, alarm systems – but any device that is using the line or noise can cause this issue. As the Call Blocker intercepts all signals on the line, these will be stored in the Call List. This will not affect how the Call Blocker works with blocking calls or your phone from working.
