WAR AFFECTED — REPEATED ALLEGATIONS REGARDING THE SAME BOOKING Assalamualaikum Brother Abubakar, This appears to be a second review concerning the same booking and the same allegations that have already been addressed. We respectfully reiterate that Caliph Travels strongly denies the accusation that we “scammed” you. As explained previously, this was a Ramadan group booking involving multiple travel components, including flights, visa, transportation, accommodation, and other services. A significant portion of the costs associated with these services had already been incurred or utilized on your behalf, and several components were subject to non-refundable terms. The statement that “all money has been refunded to the agent” does not, by itself, establish that the entire amount paid by a customer is refundable. Supplier refunds must be reconciled against the actual booking, services utilized, cancellation conditions, and amounts already incurred for other components of the package. Despite the applicable terms and the costs already incurred, our team repeatedly attempted to communicate with you and explore a reasonable solution. We have not simply ignored your concerns. We also respectfully reject any suggestion that Caliph Travels intentionally withheld money belonging to you. The relevant booking records, supplier communications, payment records, and correspondence have been retained and can be reviewed through the appropriate channel. We understand that you are dissatisfied with the outcome, and you are entitled to raise genuine concerns. However, repeatedly publishing the same serious accusation without presenting the complete booking circumstances does not help resolve the matter. If you have documentary evidence from the hotel confirming the exact amount refunded, the booking reference to which that refund relates, and the date of the refund, we are willing to review it against our records. We will continue to deal with this matter professionally and through the appropriate channels. Because this is a public forum, we will not disclose your private booking or financial information.
