The inside of the Cabin was good. It looks old from the outside. Very important to specify that to get there is very curvy, steepy and dark, I suffered everyday because Im not used to drive in the mountains. Very scary

Our group rented 2 cabins. We had difficulty determining which ones were close to each other, so we ended up about 15 minutes apart. One cabin was ready early and had no issues. The other cabin was not ready until after 7 pm, and when we arrived did not appear to have been cleaned at all. It had not been vacuumed, there was a pile of dirty towels next to the washer, there were damaged items throughout the cabin as well as items left by the previous tenants. There was not a check in sheet with damages listed. Every time we called to check on the cabin or when we had issues, the average hold time was more than 15 minutes. Once we were told they would call us right back with an estimated time and they never called. They did send someone with a vacuum cleaner at about 10:00 PM who brought fresh towels and took the dirty ones, but he was clearly maintenance staff and not cleaning crew. He returned the next day and repaired some of the items, indicating that the cabin was privately owned and the owner had been told several times to make the repairs. We were offered an additional percentage off on a return trip, but we will not be returning to these cabins, so it does us no good.

The cabin was beautiful and well taken care of. We were very happy and would stay there again in the future. The two improvements we recommend the company making are: 1. Better direction for check in and 2. Include necessary information on the confirmation emailed to guests. (Office hours for check in, office location, phone number for assistance) The email confirmation I received contained no phone number to call if we had troubles figuring out how to check in once we arrived. It mentioned that cabins may not be ready by check in time (4pm) yet the office closed at 5pm. We arrived at 5:15pm not realizing the office was closed because no hours were noted on the email confirmation. This office was not labeled in any way and was part of the fitness area, so it proved difficult to locate. During our stay we witnessed several frustrated guests searching for the office as well. It was very frustrating after a long day of travelling, and having passed the entry for the cabins twice. However, we were very fortunate that the office had a system for late check ins so we were still able to enter our cabin after hours. Overall, we would be very happy with our experience if more useful information was included in the email the company sends when booking the cabin.

The location of the cabin was perfect and an excellent choice for a large group. The cleanliness of the cabin left a lot to be desired. The carpets were filthy and had not been cleaned, there were fixtures in the cabin that were broken when we got there. Shower doors were broken and one of the hot tubs did not work. There were very few utensils/appliances in the kitchen so do not plan on having everything you need. Overall excellent location but the cabin needs some serious cleaning and updating.

The cabin was nice enough. The linens were the worst linens I have experienced in years. The sheets were so thread bare and rough I couldn't sleep on them. The towels were hard to dry your body with. The cabin itself was not spotless but clean enough. The room was adequate.

We stayed at The King of The Hill. This was our first siblings trip along with our 90 year old mother and it was a great experience. There were however a couple of problems. One was the theater room. The system didn't work. The maintenance man came over to fix a shower door and took a look at it for us. He spent probably 30 minutes trying to get it to work and we appreciated that so much. It was disappointing that we couldn't use it. The other issue was there were 10 of us staying there, but they only gave us a few wash cloths. Luckily I brought some along from home so we made it a day and then washed them. I asked for 9 wash cloths from the office and they sent 5. I believe additional personnel are needed as the service wasn't the best. They were nice enough, but several cabins were not ready when they were supposed to be ready for check in, including ours. I read several reviews before we arrived that said they had the same issue. I feel you should have enough employees to properly serve your customers. It is frustrating to think you can check in at 4:00 (as advertised) then it ends up being 5:00 - 5:30. Thank you for this opportunity.

My family and I stayed in the cabin, "Dreaming Above the Clouds." The location was excellent! The view was spectacular! And, there was more than enough space inside and parking wise for all of us! However, there were some things we found that we didn't like. One of the teenagers fell flat on his back climbing to the top bunk bc a step on the ladder was loose. The top balcony was also damaged. The televisions in most rooms are extremely old. In one of the rooms you had to look through the bed rails to try to see it. The television in the main living space was the most disappointing. A huge cabin that sleeps 38 has a small 32" in the living room. A family movie night was a for sure no go!

Excellent location - SL #1 in Gatlinburg; beautiful view and nice amenities. One housekeeping issue that was resolved immediately with staff, so 4 stars on service. Maintenance inside the cabin was a little lacking; cabin was dusty to the point of causing allergy issues and not very private - part of a complex;
