Booked cabin two weeks ago and was told I would get email with details on trip. After a couple calls I was told I would get email on directions and room key. Get to gatlinburg and waited for email after my five hour drive. At six I was told I needed to go sign in after told many times I wouldn’t need too. I was pretty annoyed that I was lied to and wasted hours that day. I get to my cabin and noticed my hot tub didn’t work, was one of the main reason I rented this cabin. Of course I called and they told me it wasn’t working which is false advertisement. They knew in advance so would be nice to have know. They said they would refund me ten dollars a night which I booked three nights. Which is a joke when you pay 200 dollars a night. I haven’t seen the refund yet which isn’t surprising. The wifi didn’t work and the tv remotes in the cabin were dead so yeah good luck there. So no hot tub, WiFi, and tv, if you want any of them in the mountains don’t go here.

Stayed in the cabin - Friends in High Places. I was very disappointed in how outdated everything is.. the fake leather couch is peeling, all the appliances are very low end. Found dirty silverware in the drawer and dirty plates in the cabinet. The pool table has a rip in the top of it and isn’t level. There was only 1 washcloth left in the bathroom for a weekend stay.. Very disappointed in this supposed Luxury cabin... will not stay here again.

This time we stayed in Memory Maker. It appeared the cabin had been vacant awhile as decor was very dusty, etc. The kitchen housed cockroaches, as well. I took pictures of them and emailed them to Guest Services, to which they never responded. I didn’t ask for anything in return, just wanted them to know.

The cabins we got were both beautiful! We rented the "RiversEdge Retreat" and the "RiverSide Lodge" for the same dates as we were having a wedding. The cabins were amazing, everyone felt very comfortable. However, there were some things along the way that made the experience TERRIBLE! When looking into getting the cabins we specifically wanted two cabins close together as everyone was travelling in for our wedding. I had spoke with one agent who gave me two cabin names that were close together. I was chatting back and forth a couple days later with another lady (I wanted to clarify the things I was told) who said that the cabins were in fact NOT close together. I asked her if there were any that were close together and specifically within "walking distance". She was pleasant and gave me the names of the two cabins (Rivers Edge Retreat & Riverside Lodge) and told me that "they shared a driveway". All was great and we were looking forward to our great weekend with friends and family. About a month in advance I e-mailed asking for the address and directions to the cabins. I was told that we were not allowed to have them. Not sure why, I know the address of a hotel before I go and stay at it! Feeling frustrated and having no options we waited until the day of check in to get the address and directions. We arrived for check-in at the office we were told by an agent the night before via online chat as I was confused that there were two offices. Anyway, we stood in line to turn over the needed documents for check in. The lady at the desk says "Oh, I'm not sure why you are at this office for check-in. You should be at the other location"........ I told her my conversation with the agent the night before. She said she could likely do the check in for both cabins... RED FLAG! We asked why one cabin would be checked in here and the other checked in at the other office if they were within "walking distance" and "shared a driveway"? Her reply was "Oh! no, they are like worlds apart.".... We reiterated the conversations where we were told the two cabins were beside each other.... she could tell we were getting frustrated. She seemed to be stumbling and said "oh, actually they are close together". We were happy, maybe she was just confused. We got the paperwork and ridiculous directions to the cabins. They said not to use GPS because it isn't always accurate, but without the GPS we would have never found it. I don't understand why as the location of the cabin never changes, so if it worked for us to use it; it will work for EVERYONE! Off we go to our cabins which we are now thinking are close to each other. After about a half an hour drive we located one cabin. Another 20 mins later we arrived at the other one! The cabins were NOT close together!! We all agreed that it seemed like the check-in lady just told us that to get us out of her hair and to get to the next costumer. We are beyond frustrated with the customer service we received. Clearly the people working are not all trained on the product they are selling (ie. locations of cabins). If we were given the address ahead of time we could have known that the cabins were not close together and we would NOT have booked them. Our wedding weekend turned out to be hectic and chaotic with half the wedding party not nearby. We left feeling like it was a total money grab and that once they had the money from us that they would tell us whatever we wanted to hear in order to benefit themselves.

I think that management should be inspecting the cabins they rent on a regular basis. I realize every cabin is different and the amenities it provide vary. However certain essentials should be mandatory in the cabins. The cabin I stayed in didn’t have many ptoducts needed to even make a meal . The screens in some rooms were ripped and the fireplace didn’t work right. I chose poorly in regards to the location. I was looking for Quiet and secluded and I got right on the road with a Hot tub on the Front porch. However I did ask when I booked if it was somewhat off the beaten path and was told it was. Perhaps the representative should learn more about the cabin locations.

Such a cute place with great potential but not very cozy. Just needs some light over the sink and sheets that fit the bed. Coffee pot didn't work and we had to buy one ourselves. ?? Outside Jacuzzi was dirty and water was very low. Trash thrown over the railing of the back porch must have never been picked up.

Lived in smoky mountain heaven. Had the cabin for 4 days. The location was good but the amenities inside had some issues or other. Here are a couple Of them. Lights in living area never turned on. Jets in the Jetted jacuzzi didn’t turn on. When complained about it , they took 2 days to fix it and whatever they fixed was also not correct. After fixing it needed someone to keep the button pressed for the jets to work which should not be the case. I have stayed in cabins managed by other companies and never had issues with a single thing. Hope the folks perform basic checks before renting out these cabins.

Bad experience... property needs maintenance work. Leaking pipes. Bad cookware.
