Worst stay ever, first it was dirty when we got here, then we never received our 400.00 dollars in admission tickets and now it's almost midnight and we are standing outside with 4 kids and we're locked out of our cabin waiting for some maintence guy to come from the next town over, and we were told 20 minutes it's been an hour so far for kids to be locked out of a cabin we paid good money for in the first place. When I asked if they could do anything for us I was told no on all accounts and I just have to wait. This place is a joke and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I will be advising all my friends family and social media sites about this treatment and I hope you fo the same.

We checked in to "Moon Dancer" cabin as it was advertised as Handicap Accessible as my father is in a wheelchair. There was a ramp, but our parking spots were in gravel and we had to block the road each time in order to get him in or out of the car. There was not enough space between the bed and dresser in the main floor bedroom for the wheelchair to get through and no grab bars within the bathroom for him to use. Additionally, the cabin was in need of a deep clean! There were spider webs all throughout the windows and even inside. When you opened the door to go to the patio you were greeted by a spider web across the entire door frame opening and spiders at face-level. We did call maintenance, twice, and they did arrive both times - but with only a broom and left shortly afterwards. At the end of the week the spiders webs were still there upon departure. The fans seem to have never been cleaned on top, the dust was visible even from below. I wish I could give warning to the next guest. UPDATE: Destiny from customer service contacted me. Received fair compensation.

My vacation here was horrible- upon my arrival I found that the hot tub was 1/4 of the way full and a yellow garden hose was left out. When I called I was informed I could finish filling it with the house and they apologized. The hot tub never did heat to the right temperature for us to ever use. The cabin looked as if it was never cleaned... dust in corners, pamphlets and candy on top of cabinets .... Everything on the amenities list promised in the cabin was not there. I was envisioning sitting on the porch in one of the 6 rockers or on the porch swing but that did not happen because they did not exist. The driveway was also atrocious... though I was credited some money at the end of the stay I think all of these things could have been avoided and should have been for the prices of the cabins being charged!!!! Definitely stay somewhere else!!!!

If we could give a zero we would! My family travelled 6 hours and rented the purrfect getaway and arrived at approximately 5 pm at the pigioen forge office. We were informed inspection was still taking place and we would be notified when we could enter. It was another 2 hours before being able to enter. The floors were dirty. Ceiling fans did not work. No sheets on one of the beds. On our last evening a family member was sitting on the couch when a bed bug was noted on her arm. Upon inspecting the couch it was infested with bed bugs!!!!! Disgusting! When calling the support line we were informed that they would put in an emergency request and have a crew sent in the morning. They were informed that we would not be staying with bed bugs. We never received a call or anyone reaching out. After 24 hours my fiance called back. He was very rudely informed that they sent in a detection dog and no bed bugs were found that " the dogs do not lie " what kind of customer service is this?? Not only this but I checked on line and the cabin is rented for this whole weekend. These people are disgusting. Not only do I have over 50 photos of a bed bug infested couch with larve and all but they refuse to do anything about this. Our lawyer was contacted this evening and will be in contact with the company!! Wish I knew how to post those photos here but I can't!!

My family and I stayed at Dreaming Above the Clouds which we nicknamed, Nightmare above the Clouds. There were numerous things wrong with the cabin. It appears to have been a beautiful cabin at one time, but it definitely needs some work now. These are just a few of the complaints: Smell downstairs (like a zoo) Hot tub not working Dirty carpet Stopped up sink Broken blinds Ice maker doesn’t work Pots and pans did not accommodate size of party Not enough dishes to accommodate amount of people Rags and towels were not available (they didn’t want to “overwhelm” me with linen) Only brought 18 rags after requesting 33 Hot tub still did not work after being “fixed” Ice maker still did not work after being “fixed” Water pressure was horrible Couldn’t even fill up the jacuzzi When jets were turned on in jacuzzi, it shot out dirt Widows are filthy Grills are filthy Pics show 2 dining tables on main level (only 1) 2 of the games pictured were not present Site states 2 big screens?? Where?? Wet bar? It was replaced with a picture Driveway will tear your vehicle up No dustpan Sprayer on kitchen sink missing No phone Loose rail on bunk bed Card table unlevel Pool table not level No chalk for pool sticks Missing rail on top level balcony However, the way I was treated after checking out just took the cake. I called every day, I was consistently told that compensation would be discussed upon check out. Well, upon check out I was offered 25% off of my stay. I advised the manager that this was unacceptable. These issues weren’t issues that had just arisen. I asked that my stay be rated at the off season price due to all of my issues. They refused! They even offered me a discount on a future stay which I declined. Please be aware that they know these cabins are in the condition they are in, but they would rather just wait to see if the guest complains. I am contacting the BBB as well as codes, and I hope that this helps someone from making the same mistake I did. I wish that I could upload the pictures with this review.

BY FAR THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!! BOOKED THEM LAST YEAR FOR MY BIRTHDAY ONLY TO BE PUT INTO A CABIN WITH ROACHES. THEN MOVED INTO A CABIN THAT WAS SOMEONE ELSE AND HAD TO MOVE THAT MORNING. TO ONE WITH A BUSTED WATER PIPE. OFFERED US A DISCOUNT FOR NEXT TIME WE BOOKED. WRONG MISTAKE TO TRUST THEM AGAIN. BOOKED THEM IN JANUARY FOR THIS WEEKEND CALLED LAST WEEK TO SEE IF WE COULD CHECK IN EARLY TO FEED EVERYONE FOR A FAMILY REUNION SO WE CAN FEED EVERYONE. GOT HERE TO BE TOLD THAT OH WE CAN'T BECAUSE IT WON'T BE READY TILL 4:30PM. GO EAT AND COME BACK TO BE TOLD THAT IT WOULD NOW BE 5:30PM. TO BE TOLD AT 5 THAT SOMEONE WAS STILL IN THE CABIN AND WOULDN'T LEAVE AND THEY HAD TO GET THEM OUT AND IT WOULD BE 9PM BEFORE THEY HAD EVERYTHING WORKED OUT. WELL GUESS WHAT NOW WE CAN'T EVEN HAVE OUR CABIN BECAUSE THEY BOOKED THOSE PEOPLE INTO OUR CABIN TODAY!!!! SO GUESS WHAT POLICE CAN'T MAKE THEM LEAVE BECAUSE THEY BOOKED IT TODAY. SO HERE WE ARE WITHOUT OUR CABIN WE PAID FOR IN JANUARY BECAUSE THEY GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BOOK WITH THEM!!!!

Checked in at 4:30pm on 7/26/18 and was told to call if anything was not working at the cabin. The jetted tub had mold and mildew on it and the walls above the shower had mold on them. The TV would not change channels so we only had one channel. I called and talked to the guest service department and they have still not sent anyone out and it has been 4 hours. DO NOT STAY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Open outlet- terrible mattress- roach in shower- never stay there again- ran out of toilet paper and towels has to wash your own- and we were in a condo
