I'm afraid the prescription just didn't…
I'm afraid the prescription just didn't help me at all. If anything, it made my joints sore. It's difficult to tell if it was indeed the medication or something else, like a bug or the flu or something, but it was uncomfortable enough to make me afraid to try again. Sorry. Also, it was expensive. If it had offered relief, then it wouln't have been too much to pay, but since it didn't, it was too expensive.

We are so sorry that you did not progress in your treatment plan as fast as you had hoped, Julie! The menopause transition is not an easy or fast one, and contains many twists and turns along the way. Joint and musculoskeletal pain is a common symptom of menopause, and it can sometimes feel worse before it gets better. It will take time for your body to adjust to the influx of hormones, but most women start to feel relief within 3 months! We see that you completed your Follow up with your Winona doctor at the 10 week mark, but you opted to pause your refills. Your Winona doctor is more than happy to change your medication dosage to see if that is helpful with your symptoms. We also understand that the cost of treatment can be a concern for many patients. The cost of treatment varies depending on the specific treatment plan that is recommended to you by your Winona doctor, but we do have cheaper options available in the HRT format you chose. It's frustrating when a treatment doesn't provide the expected relief, especially when it comes with added discomfort. We would love to assist you further and get you the results you are seeking.
