Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you didn't experience the symptom relief you were hoping for. We understand how frustrating and disappointing it can be to invest in your health and begin Hormone Replacement Therapy without seeing the improvements you expected. Everyone responds differently to HRT, and finding the right treatment plan can take time. While some women notice improvements sooner, it may take 10 to 12 weeks to experience more significant symptom relief. In some cases, adjustments to medications or dosages may be needed to achieve the desired results. We appreciate you giving Winona the opportunity to be part of your healthcare journey. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we sincerely wish you all the best moving forward.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your perspective on hormone testing and agree that listening to patients’ experiences and concerns throughout treatment is an important part of personalized care. Hormone levels can fluctuate significantly from day to day, so blood tests may not always accurately reflect what a patient needs or explain the symptoms they’re experiencing. Bloodwork can appear normal even when symptoms persist. In accordance with guidance from The Menopause Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Winona does not require routine bloodwork or hormone testing to prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Instead, our physicians base treatment recommendations on each patient’s symptoms, medical history, and individual needs. We also recognize the importance of ongoing communication after treatment begins. We encourage patients to share any changes in symptoms or concerns with their doctor so their treatment response can be reviewed and appropriate adjustments considered. Our goal is to help patients feel better while providing individualized care, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective with us.
