I'm sorry about any confusion with our onboarding process, Vee. It is outlined for each patient that, once treatment options are chosen during checkout, the doctor will review your medical intake. At that time, if it is determined you are a good fit for HRT, you will be prescribed your chosen treatment methods. Only if the patient lists questions or concerns for the doctor prior to the completion of onboarding (or immediately following when you are directed to your patient portal) will the prescribing process be halted. We aim to get the chosen medication to women as quickly as possible, as many have been suffering for years before finding Winona! Our knowledgeable Winona doctors do not prescribe your HRT based on blood work or labs, as these are not good indicators of what medication is needed. Rather, they prescribe based on your listed symptoms in the medical intake. Blood hormone levels vary greatly from day to day, even by the hour, so this is not an accurate baseline for prescribing any medications.
