Ultimate gaslighting experience
Ultimate gaslighting experience, do not use this company. Was told I’d be charged every 3 months. Was not told that charges would reset with any Rx changes. After one month of treatment, Dr changed Rx and did not tell me there would be another cost of $220. Company is claiming they’ve done nothing wrong when there was no disclosure from company nor consent on my part for the 2nd $220. They are claiming that because I agreed to the Rx changes, I’ve also agreed to the charges—which were never presented to me. So I’ve paid close to —$220 at beginning of Jan & then $220 + in first half Feb —and treatment is still not effective. Was also charged 2x for a 90 day DHEA supplement at $27 each time—so charges are close to $500. I got hot flashes with first Rx and 2nd Rx gave me unsafe heart palpitations. I’ve disputed with my credit card company. Winona is saying “we’ll pass further correspondence to our attorneys”. Well those attorneys are going to cost Winona more than it would cost them to just refund me—showing they’d rather spend their company dollars proving the customer is wrong than doing what is right for the customer. Find another company.

Thank you for sharing your concerns, we’re sorry that this experience has been so upsetting. We want to be clear that our intention is never to mislead patients, and we take concerns about billing transparency and safety very seriously. When a treatment plan is adjusted by your doctor, this typically results in a new prescription being written and dispensed, which does generate a new charge. These details are outlined during the consent and checkout process, and medication changes are not processed without patient agreement. That said, we understand that the timing or presentation of charges may not have been as clear as it should have been in your case, and we recognize how frustrating that can feel. Any reported side effects are taken seriously and reviewed by your Winona doctor. Regarding billing concerns, once a billing dispute is initiated with a financial institution, parts of the account must be handled through the dispute process, which can limit our ability to act until it’s resolved. We genuinely regret that this experience did not meet your expectations and appreciate you sharing your feedback. If you are open to it, our patient care team would still be willing to review your account in detail to clarify charges, prescriptions, and timelines so there is a clear understanding of what occurred.
