My daughter ordered Marlen urinary pouches in August 12. She is still waiting. She has been told numerous stories, given different delivery dates, told they were back ordered, lied to. What is happening? She has a permanent DA., fixed income. Can she get them if she pays privately? She can from another company. Is this discrimination?

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Byram Healthcare is probably the worst out there. TLDR: Only use Byram Healthcare to order what your insurance covers and go to other stores/websites to purchase additional accessories or you may very well end up like me: wasting and giving them free money because they wouldn't accept items that ARE eligible for return. Worst customer service ever! They keep you on hold forever, the transfer you to a department and you get disconnected. I had to use them to order a breast pump through my insurance (no choice unfortunately). While ordering my breast pump I thought it would be a good idea to order the carrying bag at the same time instead of purchasing it at Target or elsewhere. BIG BIG MISTAKE! DO NOT waste and give them extra money for accessories!!! Upon the bag being delivered of course I had to open the box to know what was in it, I however did not open the bag/packaging the carrying is was in so it is still COMPLETELY sealed. The carrying bag was way too big so I contacted them in order to return it to be told it didn't qualify for return but can't really explain you why: - First they try to tell you that the box was opened so it isn't "sealed" anymore. WHAT A JOKE, am I supposed to see through cardboard and guess the item that's in there? As mentioned above, the packaging the bag is in (that was inside the shipping box is still sealed and unopened!). - Second, I had to try contacting them way too many times about a possible return (left a voicemail but never heard back, emails but got none sense answers, talked to customer service who said they would file something but never heard back) but they take their sweet time (of course!!) so the 15-day return policy window is long time gone. - Third, they have a made up answer (each representative over the phone or via email will give you) "This are high gene products they don’t qualify for return or exchanges" but based on THEIR OWN Terms and Conditions received along with my order, the bag belong to NONE of the following "Non-Returnable Products": - Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) Sensors > the bag isn't a Continuous Glucose Monitor sensor - Wound Care Supplies > the bag isn't a wound care supply Breast Pump > the bag isn't a breast pump - Personal Care Items (i.e stockings & garments) > the bag isn't a personal care item - Custom Cut Items > the bag isn't a custom cut item - Special Orders (non-stock items) > the bag isn't a special order - Sterile Packages > the bag isn't a sterile package - Unsealed Equipment > the bag is still sealed in its original package Are you kidding me? Don't waste and give they your money, only use Byram Healthcare to order what your insurance covers and go to other stores/websites to order any extras/accessories.

So I'm just waiting to see what happens my son ran out of supplies because they hold every shipment hostage was due to be sent out 9/5/21 but thats a Sunday and 9/6/21 was holiday so I was told would be sent out 9/7/2021 as of today still not sent and heI have no Diabetic supplies and they had no answer of what we should do told me waiting for insurance authorization just so happens I work for insurance and knows protocol we must do what is in best interest of patient or patient will surely be sent to hospital and Byram can be sued for lack of empathy and quoting protocol when a simply call to insurance would solve issue and they refuse lets see how this plays out I might be owning this company if son has to be rushed to hospital because he has no Diabetic supplies I guess going extra mile to assist someone dependent on supplies to live does not matter

If I could leave a negative star I would. Frankly they just don't do a great job. I have insurance, pay my bills and they cannot seem to get my G6 sensor order going. They blame my doctor. They never called to tell me there was a problem, they said they would. So it will be a week without G6 monitoring.

My 92 year old father is very dependent on his Dexcom G6 diabetic monitor to keep his blood sugar stable. Although, we always place a monthly order well in advance of 30 days (he can only order 3 sensors/10 days wear time each), I am consistently fighting with Byram to get the order approved and shipped on time. Over the course of 11 months, Byram has delayed his order a total of 21 days which does not include shipping delays. Because of the delays, he is faced with being without his monitor. The representatives say he should just test his finger. Well, that doesn't work when he's asleep and it doesn't work if his blood sugar drops without his knowing it during the day. He is able to live alone and independently because of this device, but he is consistently stressed worrying if his sensors are going to arrive on time. Byram has a multitude of excuses, but it all boils down to their inability process orders on-time and to anticipate problems when the due date falls on a weekend. There is no other option for him to obtain this medical equipment which is extremely unfortunate.

Byram Healthcare not only provides terrible service, they have no qualms committing Medicare fraud. I was billed for copay for diabetic supplies I received in November of 2020. I received the bill i9n March 2021. I payed the bill in April using the bill pay system from my credit union. I received another bill for the same service and amount in May. I responded by including proof of payment. I necer heard from them again except that I received a collection notice from a collection agency for thast amount. Today I filed a complaint of Medicare Fraud with National Benefits Integrity, which handles complaints of Medicare fraud. However this goes beyond fraud. The only way I can label this effort by Byram Healthcare to collect on bills already paid EXTORTION. I do not intend to pay. I have documentation to support my contention that will pass any test. In the past, I have advocated for people to band together to fight the abysmal state of our healthcare. Seems there is not much interest in such activity. Fair enough. Washout collective action, we will all suffer. Note the effect of Covid-19. When people appear to have a death wish, there is nothing to stop the deterioration of care. Good luck to all of you.

Trouble began when I switched to Libre 2 meter and system for diabetes. The Byram rep asked information and said changeover from Libre 1 would be initiated. Two weeks later I received sensors, but no meter. I called and was told it was on the way. Three weeks later I called and was told it was never ordered. Ten days later I received the meter. Next I called saying I would be out of the country for 5 weeks and needed additional supplies. I was told this was impossible. I called my insurance company and they informed Byram they approved a vacation override. I then called Byram who admitted they received the authorization but said they still could not ship until the next medicate authorized shipping date. This made no sense since the insurance, Medicare Advantage, had approved. I pleased with them to ship express. They said they could only do that on the authorized shipping date. That date was the day I was flying out, and receiving the supplies would be impossible. Finally my only choice was to buy new supplies retail, from Byram that were not covered by insurance. I did this, it saved me. Five weeks later I returned to find the large box of all the regular refills plus the ones that had been authorized for vacation use. I'll use them all and find a new supplier. I will never order from Byram again.

For the last 2 months I had to follow-up on incontinent supplies for mil. Customer service lied to me each time telling me the hold-up was the insurance company. Byram tried telling me that EVERY SINGLE MONTH the insurance company needed to give an authorization. I called the insurance company and they told me that they give a 12 month authorization for supplies. I don't know what is up with this company, I called today to follow-up on the order and to ask why they lied about authorizations and I was hung up on. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON that I have spoken to has even offered an apology for my mil not receiving her supplies. This company is a disgrace. Btw1cstar is way too generous I would rather have given them a minus 5 stars! Stay away from this company unless you love torture!
