Like everyone else dealing with these morons..
Began the process of reordering 14F catheters on December 5th, complying with all their documentation requirements for Medicare payment. Nearly a month later, still no supplies and being told the order will be canceled after nearly twenty back-and-forth dialogs with these jerks and my healthcare team at Providence. Byram has supplied me with the criteria to satisfy Medicare. The questions and answers have been related to my Providers: 1. Q. date of visit, A. 12/27/2023, 2. Permanence or need?, A. BPH (declined) permanent urinary retention (pending), 3. Q. Type of catheter?, A. A4353, 4. Q. Frequency of use? A. 3xd, 5. Q. two UTI w/ culture A. lab results provided, 5. Doctor's signature on attendum to chart notes. A. Done. Everything forwarded to these people and still declined blaming it on Medicare. Dealing with these fools is like a light bulb joke. Tired of calling my Provider's office and getting updates from Byram why the most recent submission has failed. No more!!! Next step is to start the process with a different supplier. None could be worse. Incompetence would be a major accomplishment here. You don't get a mountain of one-star reviews by doing things right.
