They are great at marketing
My teeth have been bothering me from getting more cavities and fillings, receding gums some from brushing too hard, and grinding that has made some negative impacts to me over time. I am a 37 year old male. I have been putting more effort into my teeth and have been sometimes browsing on Instagram and then got retargeted and marketed by this company. I tried them out. I do think their products are decent. It has been helping me. I brought the pack of gum to my dentist and he thought this was a good idea as it had xylitol. I think it's a great addition to brushing in the morning and evening to be chewing this gum 1-3 pieces a day throughout the day after eating a meal. I have read the reviews here and have my own thoughts as well. I think this is a small company that focuses mainly on marketing. And they do well at marketing and educating. And marketing is arguably the #1 most important thing in a business and this business seems to be doing well. Their website and order process is all sales based focused. Which seems to actually help the company get more sales. It's just very confusing and not user friendly, overwhelming, and often misleading and unclear. Their operations and customer service are mediocre at best. It's probably because they don't have a large staff, which is reasonable for their business. And they seem to work Mon-Fri business hours. When people are ordering 7 days a week all the time. They seem often behind on orders and try to stay professional. Overall they are not good at operations though. They're just ok and create a lot of animosity and anger from their customers and create a different experience for different customers. At this point, I am quite annoyed and going to stop ordering from them for now. I have also now realized they have many competitors so I want to try out them as well. My first order took a long time and they emailed me saying there are problems with tariffs. Over time from interacting with them I can tell that this most likely is a lie or excuse to try to influence me to understand why they were late. Their seemingly only customer service agent is Ed. He's ok. Seems a little dumb. He helps me also though. I have a 67 email ongoing thread with him. I'm not convinced that this company has superior products to their competitors. I don't completely trust them. My second order was good. However, the mailman screwed up. So that was not their fault and I had to find the package through contacting USPS. My third order I was expecting 2 packs of gum. I emailed support and they apologized and said they would send me another pack and give me a discount on my order. They did not do either. Then they got back to me after I followed up and showed me I only got one pack of gum for $32. I was irritated, because I thought that was too much for one pack of gum. My fourth order I did through emailing Ed. I wanted to try the cinnamon gum and bubble gum. I also ordered toothpaste to try it out. The shipment only came with the 2 packs of gum. Also I told him that I wanted to try the toothpaste once and Ed put me on monthly for the toothpaste. I had to google how to cancel Larine auto shipment as their website is difficult for me to navigate. I eventually just did cancel it. It goes through a well crafted sequence that works well for a sales page where the website takes care of everything. It is annoying as a customer. They also previously gave me a $5 off card in the mail and I asked how to redeem it and Ed said he would talk to his team. And then never got back to me. They incentivize their customers to earn $25 to promote to friends, family, affiliate links. And $100 for posting a video. I find in seeing the videos that a lot of the people posting them are just doing that for the money and don't know what they are talking about well. Overall, they just seem like a small business trying to figure it out. Not the greatest at their inventory process. They probably often don't know how much to order and then sometimes are short on inventory. And their packs of gum I have tried I can tell have come with different time sitting on the shelf or maybe impacted through the shipping process. Because some packs the gum quality has come hard to chew and some are more soft. I do like this type of product. Seems good to try out competitors at this point. Subscription # #17861574947
