Burrow Range Sofa is Terrible
Burrow deletes the negative reviews on their website, but if I can help anyone save their money it's worth a try. My old sofa was showing some wear after ten years, so I purchased this new sofa so I would have a cozy place to recuperate during cancer treatment. Right away I noticed the sofa was almost impossible to put together as one person, and the directions are very confusing, it was so bad I actually emailed the company thinking I had the wrong parts. Secondly the sofa is rock hard, even if you like a firm sofa, this is like sitting on the floor, also the legs are wobbly. Now onto the main issues. Burrow claims this is spill resistant and scratch resistant and good for people who have pets. That is not true at all. Within two months this sofa was destroyed. Pet hair clings to it like velcro, spills seep through the fabric, and also roll around the cushions to the underside and get trapped between the cushion and sofa base, and sink into the sofa base. I cleaned this sofa six times and could not get the smell and stains out. Also, in case you think the sofa cover is washable since it has a zipper, it is not. My other furniture, which the cat does occasionally scratch, looks fine years later, but within a few months this sofa had so many holes, the fabric just rips apart. I contacted burrow after two months and even offered to purchase replacement cushions and covers, thinking maybe I had a defective part, but they don't sell replacement parts. After my cancer treatment ended I finally gave up and requested a refund for this sofa which is only six months old but is already garbage. In an email they sent me they admitted their modular sofas are actually harder to clean than regular sofas, and that spills will get trapped and ruin the sofa base, but still refused to refund my money. The AG or BBB should look into this company, all the claims they make are false, and the products they sell are the lowest quality possible, they are literally lying to customers and selling products that absolutely do not perform as advertised. Save your money and buy the cheapest Walmart or ikea couch you can find for $200-$300, it will be much better.
