At bumpbabe, we know motherhood is wild, messy, and seriously life-changing. We started bumpbabe because we were tired of stiff, scratchy maternity stuff that just didn’t fit real life. You need soft, stretchy clothes that work as hard as you do (and maybe hide some spit-up). We’re here for every bump, every stage, and every “Is it nap time yet?” moment.

The dress was too big, and I tried to return it in accordance with the return policy listed on the website, which states that you can return items with tags attached within 30 days. Instead of being able to initiate a return, you have to request a return, and after 5 days of no response I reached out to their customer service. They replied and offered me a 30% refund or 30% store credit, and after I refused that and asked to return the item for a 100% refund they said they could give me a 50% refund or 50% store credit. I replied that this is not in accordance with their policy listed on the website, and I expect a 100% refund. They have now referred me to their "support team" and I have not heard back from them yet. This is frustrating and consumer fraud.

Almost impossible to do returns
Almost impossible to do returns. Took a LOT of effort to get my money back, whereas the website states free returns. Items do not fit as advertised. Do not suggest anyone to buy from this website. It seems items came shipped from China.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
Items out of stock despite still be advertised as in stock on the website, very long processing and shipping times. When items finally arrive the fabric quality is poor, the fit is terrible and nothing looks like the photos on the website. I attempted to return the items which met all return criteria on their website, and after four emails where I have clearly articulated my legal rights I have been referred to a 'specialist' as the customer service team appear to only be authorised to offer up to a 50% refund.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Shein/Temu quality
The website looks nice and makes you think you will get somewhat good quality clothes. It's not that. You are getting clothes the same quality as shein or temu but for 5x the price. Don't waste your money.

Not a good experience
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t shop with BumpBabe again after my experience trying to return a dress.
I originally bought the dress for a wedding, but when it arrived it was too large. I requested a return and initially received no response. After waiting around a week, I contacted them again on 28 August to chase the return.
When they eventually responded, they asked why I wanted to return it. I explained that it was too large and that the wedding I had bought it for had now passed. I was then offered three options: a replacement at an additional cost, a 30% partial refund with no return, or a 30% store coupon.
I declined these options and explained that I simply wanted to return the dress for a full refund. I also pointed out that their own published returns policy specifically states that fit-related or change-of-mind returns can be requested within 30 days, provided the item is unused, unwashed and undamaged with the original tags and packaging intact. My dress met all of these requirements and had been sitting untouched in its original packaging while I waited for them to deal with my return.
Despite this, I was told they were “unable to process a full refund as it falls outside of our standard return options.” This was particularly frustrating because what I was requesting appeared to be exactly what their own returns policy allowed.
At that point, having already tried to resolve it directly with the company, I raised a claim through PayPal. Only after the PayPal claim was opened did BumpBabe contact me to say they had processed a full refund and that I could keep, give away or donate the dress. They also asked me to close the PayPal claim.
I have now received the full refund, so the matter has ultimately been resolved. However, I shouldn’t have had to raise a PayPal claim to get a refund for a return that met the conditions of their own published policy.
It’s a real shame because I liked a lot of the clothing on their website and probably would have ordered from them again. But after the difficulty I experienced trying to make what should have been a straightforward return, and their initial refusal to follow their own returns policy, I wouldn’t feel confident purchasing from them again.

Trash company selling trash clothes
Trash company selling trash clothes. I ordered 5 items, one being a jumpsuit. The fabric across the board was BARELY stretchy and the jumpsuit wasn't maternity in the least. Then when you contact these idiots, instead of it being a no questions asked return policy like is advertised on their website, which I screenshotted and sent them, they ask multiple questions and only offered a 20% refund and for you to keep the clothes that don't and never will fit. They're out of China and just garbage. Shipping takes forever (2-3 weeks) so returning and getting new sizes puts you in the next trimester before you get them.
Edited to add: They reached out and offered to refund two of the items if I would change my trustpilot review, but they wanted me to change my review first before they did the refund. Sorry, but at this point it needs to be a full refund before I would even consider saying they rectified the situation. Their return policy listed on the website is vastly different than what actually happens when you contact them so they just pocket your money and give you low quality, non-maternity clothing that you'll never be able to fit into while you're pregnant. Steer clear of this company.
