Good sale price on ground bison, delivery was quick. Meat is delicious!

First I buy any of my meats when on sale. I also purchase at least the minimum required to get free shipping. I am by no means a professional cook. This was my first purchase of bison chuck roast. You want to slow cook bison. First I thawed it well in the refrigerator like 2 1/2 days. Then I bought Kettle & Fire Grass Fed Beef Bone Broth as it was on sale the day I went to the store. I cut up a couple red organic onions, added 5 small organic red potatoes and a couple small packs of the small peeled colored organic carrots. Adding all this together in my crock pot I put it on low at 6:15 in the morning. I slow cooked it all for 8 hours. I split the roast with my daughter. Now after my rambling the verdict. It was absolutely the most fork tender roast I have eaten since the days when my mom would cook a fork tender beef roast. With the bone broth and the onions and the fat cooking off the roast it was so flavorful. I am glad I ordered fifteen. With the weather turning colder what a better meal.

Fantastic! I won't hesitate to buy again. The bison steaks and roasts are an epicurian delight of the highest quality.

I know I'm not as close as most of the BW customers (CO) so my only wish is that the packaging would be a little better, UPS is not always timely in my area, so most packages have started to defrost, a few times significantly. That being said, the meat is always top notch and I'm always happy when I see their specials!!

Arrived on time, the product was cold, still in the freezer, have not eaten the food yet.

Recent with in the last few weeks ordered as do check the prices and even though I pay more in shipping to get this is just the best tasting meat I have ordered and always a good deal nothing upsetting as once recieved shipment where was not frozen hard only to find all these years I have lived with not refreezing raw meat. Well they were right nothing was wrong with that meat and learned about unthawing a few times with out a problem so I love this place period and I have tried the all I think by now. But I keep coming back here because of the taste and quality.

Food arrived frozen like a brick.
