The Bruno chair lift has changed our lives dramatically since my wife could no longer climb the stairs, even with my assistance. My wife is undergoing chemotherapy and we have frequent doctor appts. which were very difficult for us before we had the chairlift installed. The Bruno lift drive mounts vertically and takes up less room on the stair treads which makes it easy for me to use the stairs without being obstructed . 2 thumbs up for the Bruno. UPDATE: My wife was using the Bruno stairlift on black Friday after Thanksgiving when it suddenly quit working with the chair half way down the stairs. If this happens to you, my advice is to not panic like I did at first, calm down and follow the troubleshooting tips that are in the installation manual. The symptoms were that the chair was completely dead and a red light was illuminated on the battery charger. After checking all the obvious things like the key switch, the circuit breaker and the foot rest for obstructions, I finally found that the problem was caused by the speed governor which apparently thought the chair was descending too fast. The installation manual has a picture of what the governor should look like and after making an adjustment to mine, the chair started working properly once again. Once you have one of these stairlifts in use, you'll get a stark reminder of what life is like without one when it stops working. To me, this ended up being a minor problem that just emphasizes the many safety features built into the Bruno stair lifts.

Stair lift was installed 2 days after order. Installer was a real professional who finished in about 2 hours. He also demonstrated features of lift. Lift has been a great relief for my funky lungs.

Option to swivel chair at top and bottom lacking. Not explained during design phase

So glad to have my stair lift! I live in a townhouse with four small sets of stairs to get up to the top floor.

The workman were respectful, efficient, and speedy with my installation. And the lift works great .Quiet and smooth.

Since I’ve had the chair I’m able to travel between first and second floor without pain and able to breathe a lot better. It’s made living in the home much easier and possible for me.

We purchased two Bruno Stair Lifts and couldn't be happier with the ease of use. They preform smoothly and quietly. They were installed about a month ago and with frequent use there have been no glitches. They make mobility from various levels of our home easy. The installation went smooth within a day. If I could have any added feature, it would be that the foot rest would lift with the ease of a button, rather than having to bend over to lift and lower. Having these stairlifts have increased my sense of well-being and ability to manage living in a multi-level home. I highly recommend for anyone having mobility limitations.
