Excellent quality and Service Far superior to Acorn

I think a product is only as good as the follow up service you receive. We had a “user error” yesterday and the installer came out and resolved the issue quickly and insured it wouldn’t happen again. Very happy with the system.

Great stairlift. Makes life so much easier.

It took 4 conversations to get the stairlift installed closer to the wall so that it would be even usable in our narrow stairway. Position of rail was originally 3" further from the wall than the manual describes as normal. They would not budge on the position that this was as close as they could go. Finally, a different installer moved the rail 2-3/4" closer to the wall. (He did leave the filling of the holes that were exposed in the stairs to me to fix. I did so using 3/16" wood dowels.) Regarding the seat position at the top of stairs, they did not think it through from the standpoint of the user. They arbitrarily limited the length of the rail so that, in the end, getting off and on at the top is unnecessarily risky (if the person was more disabled than I am right now). 4 or 6 more inches would have made a difference, but the decision on this was arbitrary. Regarding the Bruno product, I am quite satisfied with this basic unit.

Seems to be very well built. I like the quality of the materials. The installer was fantastic!

Shipping and installation was outstanding. However, after week, the power foot rest quit working and the unit showed an error code of E7. All American Mobility came out within a couple days and found a loose lead to the footrest motor, and fixed it. Footrest works but does not recover completely and error code remains. Otherwise all is well.

3 years, few glitches. Fit and finish well done, Close to “hospital quality”. As with any product, especially these days, Decent “service After the sale” is difficult to get. The install was quick and efficient.. but sales did not plan well and chair nearly did not fit. The installer, very professional, did not tell me the screw for the supports would ONLY hit the stair tread, no under tread support. Then, concerns about design criteria like difference between up/lift and down /descend “Speed” They are different and not mentioned in any customer facing documents. The chair squeaks occasionally even tho I have cleaned and lubricated. It leaves dark tracks on the rail. Speed will occasionally vary at start or departure or fail to launch. Release and repress of direction switch usually resolves. As with any product, this is a compromise... but we are stil very satisfied.
