Rick Peterson, owner of Grace in Motion, was knowledgeable, direct concerned and accommodating. The chair lift design and operation appeared sound and comprehensive (I am an engineer). In the last year we have purchased three Bruno chairlifts; they have been fine for the most part (two in our Arlington home and one in our second home). One of them is a bit slow in starting up its staircase.

The Bruno stairlift is essential for my 89 year old mother to continue to live at home. It is easy to operate. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Life mobility was the firm that sold the Bruno Stairlift. While they sell other brands, Bruno was number one. The installer indicated that quality, durability, reliability were factors that put Bruno ahead of the other brands. We have had the Bruno (two of them) for about three weeks. They are great — we really enjoy them — I would highly recommend to anybody

I replaced two straight stairlifts with the Bruno Elite Indoor 180° Curve stairlift so that I need not transfer from one stairlift to another. I had a concern because the 180° curve had to negotiate a relatively narrow doorway and I was not sure whether it would be possible to do so without striking my knees against the opposite doorway frame. What is great about Bruno is that the seller/installer will take a photographic survey of the proposed path of the system and submit it to Bruno to ensure that the stairlift can be properly installed and safely operated. Other makes of stairlifts would have required me to widen the doorway. I consulted a contractor about this and he advised me that widening the doorway would compromise the structural integrity of the house. The system was installed in early February and I am happy to report that I have sufficient clearance going around the 180° turn. I am very happy with the Bruno stairlift. It appears to be very solidly built. The seat is comfortable and deep. My previous stairlift seat was very shallow. The system is very quiet. A very important reason for recommending a Bruno stairlift is the limited lifetime warranty. I did a fair amount of research on stairlifts before making this purchase and I think that Bruno is the only stairlift manufacture to offer a lifetime warranty on the major components – motor, gear box, drivetrain and rail – for as long as the original purchaser owns the system. These are the most expensive components of the system. Bruno also provides a two-year warranty on other minor components from the date of installation by an authorized Bruno dealer. Although this does not deal with Bruno specifically, one other piece of advice that I would offer is that not all stairlift dealers/installers are the same. I would strongly suggest asking about their after sales service and extended warranty above and beyond that offered by Bruno. Some dealers offer free extended warranties and others don’t. Please make sure that you get it in writing as part of the quotation and contract.

From the beginning, with the visit and consultation with rep Jordan, the phone conversations and visit to Morgantown facility and the installation rep Richard, things went smoothly. Very good instructions from Richard on the operation and maintenance.
