I have never experienced a cancellation this bad…
I have never experienced a cancellation process as dysfunctional as Breezeline's. In fact, I'm still unable to cancel my account. I am moving and have been trying for weeks to cancel my internet service. Breezeline requires customers to call in order to cancel, but actually reaching someone appears nearly impossible. I've spent hours on hold, requested multiple callbacks that never came, and have had calls disconnected just as I was finally about to reach a representative. When I finally connected with a live agent through chat, I explained the situation in detail: I had already requested callbacks multiple times, already spent hours on hold, and was moving within days. Rather than providing any solution, the agent repeatedly told me to "call back" and request a callback—the very thing I had already explained was not working. Even more frustrating, the agent refused to answer basic questions: * How do I cancel my account? * How do I return my equipment? * Will returning equipment automatically close the account? The only answer I received was, over and over again, "Call them." At one point, the agent acknowledged that they could not process cancellations through chat, yet they were also unable or unwilling to explain the actual cancellation process. This isn't customer service. It's a maze designed to prevent customers from leaving. The internet service itself was fine. The customer experience was not. Requiring customers to navigate endless hold times, failed callbacks, dropped calls, chat agents with no authority to help, and a cancellation process that seems intentionally difficult is unacceptable. If you're considering Breezeline, don't just evaluate the service. Ask yourself how much time and frustration you're willing to endure when you eventually need support or decide to cancel.
