Once I got the hang of it, Breakout Clips was fun and easy to use. They also have great customer support. At the start I had two questions and both were answered really quickly and clearly.

I love the fact that the instructions to create these clips are simple to follow or you can remix an idea and make it your own. You're guided through the process all the way. The only limitation is your imagination.

Not worth it! expensive with few videos and no phone app
1st, every edit uses your credit and it seems like a scam! I used all my credits because I edited videos that are not exactly that I want to in my business; 99 dollars for very few videos; it is a scam for me!; 2nd, you do not have a phone app that is easier for me to create videos and edit. You asked me to log on to desktop all the time; I want the easy way thru phone 3rd, too expensive for a limited time of less than 10 seconds, it does not even last for 30 seconds; I have to slow down the video so that clients will see and read what is written; 5 or 10 second videos are NOT ENOUGH for clients reading and looking at the video; 4th, it is really expensive so I resorted to another AI with an android app so I wont be logging in to my desktop all the time. Thanks. What will make me stay? If you have videos that is longer than 10 seconds that will last 20 to 30 seconds (and a model that talks too) and it should be cheaper. My 99 dollars is not worth it for only less than 10 second video. So I cancelled. You need to create a phone app for business owners and or influencers like me so it would be easier to download files or create videos. Again, your less than 10 seconds video does not give justice for an expensive 99 dollar subscription

Happy to clarify a few things:
On credits: Credits are only used when you render a final video. You can preview and make unlimited edits beforehand without spending any credits.
If you edit an AI video after it's been rendered, yes, that uses credits. If you rendered a video with Kling AI or Google Veo and wanted to edit it afterwards, it would use credits too - that's standard across every major AI video platform, not just Breakout Clips.
That said, we give you multiple video outputs at no extra credits, plus free regenerations - which most AI video platforms don't offer.
On video length: Breakout Clips is designed for short-form, scroll-stopping hooks - the kind that grab attention in the first few seconds on social media.
Video duration is shown on the free plan before purchase, so this isn't information we gatekeep.
If you're looking for longer explainer-style videos or talking avatars, we're probably not the right tool - and we've never advertised those features.
On mobile access: You can access our platform directly from your browser on any device - no app download needed. If you experienced issues on mobile, send us a quick screen recording to [email protected] and we'll be happy to assist further.
On pricing: The $99 plan is not our cheapest option - we also offer a $39 plan, which might have been a better fit.
