I’d give 0 stars if possible…utterly scandalous. I signed up to what I thought was a free 7 day trial via Apple Services…and they charged me £99.99 immediately for a years service. I immediately cancelled the subscription and requested a refund…which I’m currently waiting to hear about. Beware signing up to this company’s ‘free’ 7 day trial, as from a quick google search…this seems like a common occurance.

5 ans de retour sur expérience. Bloqueur intégré sur tous les sites internet, désactivable à tout moment site par site. Que demander de mieux ? Bloque principalement les pubs sur Youtube, Twitch ! :) Et c'est pas google qui a créer Brave c'est le co-fondateur de Mozilla Firefox (Brendan Eich). Merci à ceux qui ne savent pas de se taire. Bise.

J'utilise Brave depuis maintenant plus d'un an et je dois dire que je suis très agréablement surpris (je partais pourtant avec un gros préjugé négatif). Déjà, pour recontextualiser ce préjugé : il faut savoir que Brave est basé sur le moteur de rendu Chromium (la même base que Google Chrome, d'où l'avis salé de plusieurs commentaires). Mais après plusieurs mois d'utilisation, je me rends compte que ce navigateur est bien meilleur qu'Opera. Déjà par rapport à la stabilité, la fiabilité, et surtout le fait qu'il est beaucoup plus respectueux de la vie privée. Pour ce qui est de « l'argent perdu » évoqué dans certains avis, je ne vois pas de quoi ils parlent car Brave est totalement gratuit. De plus, la synchronisation entre appareils se fait facilement, et le bloqueur de pubs ainsi que les extensions tiers fonctionnent parfaitement. Je ne comprends pas l'origine de certaines mauvaises évaluations, mais pour moi, Brave est un grand oui !

One time I was browsing in their browser when I suddenly got a "connection refused" error. The error page is designed to make it seem like it was the website that refused the connection, but when I tried visiting the website again on safari, it loaded just fine. Then I came back and it worked again. Looks like it's actually their browser that's refusing the connection for no reason other than to waste their users' time. Exactly who benefits from this kind of behavior? I tried to give them this feedback but the feedback system they are pushing is a community forum. NO. Who in the world thought using a community forum is a good way for users to contact a company? The proper way for users to contact a company is via a feedback form or a support email, but none of those were provided. Extremely difficult and frustrating user experience. Unnecessarily so.

Don't know what all the fuss is about! It uses Chrome engine and so behaves like a Chrome browser with all the add-ons to block ads and trackings. It's often slow to load a website at the beginning, especially social media sites or news channels, sometimes I even have to refresh it! The address bar can be customised to the bottom for convenience yet it shifted up back to the top when I need to type something on it, and if the keyboard doesn't pop up automatically then I still have to stretch to the top to click on it for the keyboard to come on. This is the flaws of having to rely on Chrome engine instead of Android native webview (unlike Via browser). Now and then it freezes, so had to force it to close and clear app's cache. Good job some of its reward & advertising functionalities can be switched off, otherwise I wouldn't be using it at all. Firefox still holds the trump card I'm afraid.

J'ai découvert Brave en recherchant à filtrer les publicités intrusives du navigateur Google. Il m'a été indiqué par l'IA de Microsoft. Performant, rapide et complet dans les résultats des recherches, il a bien cet avantage sur les autres navigateurs, celui de filtrer les publicités et pour cela il est unique. C'est pour cela que je l'ai choisi comme navigateur par défaut.

Avevo attivato il servizio VPN per provarlo. Testato una volta, mai più usato e mi trovo un addebito di oltre 100€ per un abbonamento annuale. Ho chiesto la restituzione dell importo per servizio mai usato, abbonamento non richiesto ma nessuna risposta

This is a very good, private browser. I had no issues with search results as many have stated in other reviews. I like the fact that they do not track anything and give you lots of privacy options, including choices of search engines. Their AI is not bad either and you can choose from different models as well. I think it is an upgrade from Firefox, too. Make the switch and see for yourself. Do you really want to give all your browsing info and personal data to Microsoft or Google?
