Brave has been working pretty well for me for most of 2026 - but now it has been updated or changed and I can no longer get it to work easily. It did struggle sometimes with some sites -- Royal Mail doesn't work on it for example so I always have had to have another browser in the wings - but now it is almost completely unusable... I'm going to try something new

Every time I search for something specific, I get the DESCRIPTION of the product or company, but NOT a link to the product or company. Very frustrating. I don't need a description until later when I decide that I have the correct product or company that I was looking for! PROVIDE THE LINK so consumers can get to the information they want right away, the whole point of a search engine!; instead of having to scroll and research AGAIN then click several times before finding what they need.

Gut zu gebrauchen- bis ein Update kommt. Muss unter Linux dann wieder Passwörter importieren, Blog und X Daten sind gelöscht, jetzt kommt ein Blödsinn, dass immer neue Tabs beim Klick geöffnet werden, das ist sooo 90er. Noch ein Mätzchen- und Brave fliegt raus. Brave- Hilfe ist auch mies.

doesn't exactly block any websites, so i use the Avast extension to help it. but it's still not great.

I've used Brave for a number of years. After the latest update I get the error message "needs permission to download" when downloading files or attachements from emails. It is impossible to get any help from Brave. No email, no phone number or no chat. Community forum is worthless. Still wondering how I can download files with Brave. May have to switch browsers.

Not as secure as you think. I began to use brave because it stresses the importance of security and privacy. It's far from that if you use the free version. You can download any vpn and get the same results and not be restricted to one browser. Quite frequently the browser kicks you out of private browsing mode. You might not always notice it. Private "mode" isn't 100% private as I occasionally get warnings from google saying it is not private. I am considering finding another browser because it just kicks you out of private browsing without warning. This issue is becoming more frequent than in the past.

I have used Brave for over 3 years and never ever got a AD. Today I got an ad on youtube and I was super mad at brave for not doing what I expected and what they told me they did. I will still continue using brave, but if I get more ads again I will change to some other browser.

I love Brave's privacy, lightness and ease of use as well as compatibility with most Chrome features but you guys HAVE GOT TO STOP THE CONSTANT UPDATES! It keeps making things that are working great worse all the time! It's always something I can no longer access for a time because of your stupid updates. If your team is good, you won't need to keep making so many.
