Used to like this browser bit the last…
Used to like this browser but the last 6 months it has forced me to prove i am human on every single search. I tried everything to stop it and nothing works. So uninstalled and 1 star review.

Using this POS browser is like putting your teenager in a cage 24/7 so as to protect him from alcohol, drugs, STDs and violence. Brave blocks EVERYTHING, whether you want it or not; it pops its idiotic "verify you're human" captchas every 2-3 days... just a fear-mongering, idiotic heap of worthless excrement thriving on its users' paranoid fear of the "oooh, internet is sooo scawy!" ignorance.

For the smartphone version of the Brave browser, I’d give it a solid 'Four.' There are no ads, but I’m still stuck with that annoying blank box on the screen. As for the web version, it shows promise, but it’s not quite there yet. This browser has shifted from being very 'simple' to downright frustrating, so I’ve decided to delete it for now. For instance, why do I have to close other browsers just to import bookmarks from another one? That shouldn’t be necessary! Developers really need to think about the basics. What I want is a clean 'blank' page where I can set my own picture or colour. I definitely don’t need icons or pages I visit added, or profiles—this trend is just clutter. A machine can’t truly grasp anybody's preferences unless, of course, you’re spying on us. And I certainly don’t want endless notifications or your statistics, why! Let me be clear: we all want a browser, not your clutter, which seems to be the latest trend, just now. Please stop wasting our device resources with unnecessary junk and our time trying to delete it or navigate through it! Got it?

Like using a browser from 20 years ago. Excellent.

It started out great and blocked ads and disabled sites I did not want to see—then it went haywire ! It turned into pages of ads and sites I never want to see again. How could something so good go so wrong so quickly?

Been a while that ad blocking stopped especially on Facebook. A bit of a shame, I wish I could get clear instructions on how to fix this but I am going to switch back to mozila and regular adblockers. Other than that this browser is great on phones only. Also on PC it eats less RAM so works better but ad blocking has diminished dramatically.
