Got the classic dark brown one in gold for 4 years now! Still enjoy it everyday!! Leather strap is getting a more worn look, might need to replace it soon. Battery was also replaced after 3 years. I don't mind. Also got a nato strap for summer time, which is still in new conditions. Customs taxes are little bit unpredictable, but guess it's lot of work for a small company to include this in their own administration, so I just got the invoice from the national tax office, which was about what I expected from the tax office website. Still got many compliments and thinking about buying one for my brother! :D

(See 2023 update at bottom of page!) It arrived in a timely way and I am very happy with it. I intended to use only as a dress watch but after determining that it actually is extremely durable, with no scratches on the crystal I started daring to wear it to work. I'm a house builder, and I do it all. After two and a half years and many bumps and collisions the crystal still looks new. For me this is the true test of durablity. When I went to have the battery changed at two years the owner at the watch shop said "This is a really nice watch". I must say, the bands are wonderful, the most easy to use and change from one style or another, or in my case from grungy work band to going out for the evening fresh band. I've been through several-- the Italian bovine leather is the best wearing of all the leathers. I bought my electrician one of the mid century styles and he loves it, and I bought my daughter the 36mm ladies watch -- in rose gold--she's never without it, loves her's like I do mine. (The delivery on her watch was delayed even though it's the classic slim, eventually arriving a month past the day I had anticipated recieving it. We both get compliments from strangers. My last comment is that I ordered the Swiss Automatic, a splurge for a carpenter but I was rewarding myself for a job well done. It's been FIVE months since ordered/paid for and no watch has been delivered. Customer service has been responsive to my inquiries, and I have been promised the watch will be delivered "in a couple of weeks" a couple of times now but nothing. I am feeling a bit abused at this point, as they have my money and my watch, but I am giving them the benifit of the doubt that their supplier is backed up and it will arrive directly, if not, I may cancel and get my money back. A carpenter probably shouldn't be wearing a $595 watch anyway. UPDATE: A hand day marker fell off my dial at about three years of age or so and I returned to the kindly watchmaker for his expert repair. (I had pulled the crown out immediately after the marker dropped and stopped the works, we talked about this because the first thing watchmaker did was start it.) He says okay $36 plus any parts he would need, he would clear the bench and do it at home . After 3-1/2 weeks he called me back and handed me my thoroughly damaged, mangled, and broken Swiss Auto with several scratches, like, all over. Did I mention it was broken? No function. He said he didn't have the tools to get the crown off by inflating the case and removing the crown, and had tried to unscrew/pull off the crystal like a vintage case. The Swiss Auto has 3? Microns of gold plate double-scratched down to bare steel at several spots. Ruined. Crown o uller marks in the hands of a monster. He says send it to a "reputable watch repair shop"--it's over his head. Seeing the watch in my hand, it looked like it had been thrown across a room into a wall with steel tools attached to it. Appalled, I look from the watch to him, he says "No charge". "Go easy on me" he writes in the note he writes to send along with the watch, to whom it may concern. New repairs shop says broken, $300 to repair it (post included), one year warranty. After 12 weeks new watch repair said it's done but they had to GLUE the sweep second hand because there was a broken part no longer available. I did research and found everything was available that we needed. Very grudgingly, the new watch shop fixed it properly for the original quote, after another three weeks. They did nothing for the case repair and scratches, so now it really looks like a carpenter's watch. I'm skipping the venerable watch repair gent in my town now... Good luck. I wear the Swiss Auto every day. It's really a nice watch.

Hey Drew! Thanks for your review. As head of operations, I know the concern with the delivery delay with the Swiss Automatic timepieces that we have. Since these are such special pieces, I'm receiving them myself, as well as doing the quality testing to make sure that you are receiving the best possible watch. I looked into our Swiss orders, and I'm assuming your last name starts with an A. I promise, I'm receiving them TOMORROW!! We are so excited. I want to take a day or two to test them, so I plan on starting to ship next week. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again for your review, and I look forward to shipping you, your Swiss auto next week! ~LB
