Nowadays It's a rare thing to find a good stuff on social media. Luckily a I found a good thing, it's none other than a legit online watch shop - Brathwait. I have seen many varieties and one that impressed me - The Liberty Datekeeper.
It looks so classy and Dark grey crocodile leather strap added more beauty to it. Free shipping and worldwide warranty made me order immediately. I must say this one looks so good on my hand.
Thank you Brathwait!

It was a long story about how i ended…
It was a long story about how i ended up buying on this website and I will try to explain it in a short words and watch review. I've been to Hawaii for my brother's relative marriage function. I've noticed that my brother and his sons wear the same brand watches which looks super cool and very attractive. I wanted to ask him about watch but he itself revealed that he recently bought Swiss classic off the internet. It was quite surprising to me because he is the person who always love to purchase from local stores not a fan of online purchase. I asked him about details, he gave this site address and that's how I landed to this website.
The next week I purchased the same from this site. I got my delivery within a week and The Swiss Classic with black mesh strap looks so elegant and very attractive. I would like to thank Brathwait for quick shipping and nice packaging.

Brathwait Swiss Automatic--Close to Perfect
I ordered the Swiss Automatic August 9 of 2018 and it arrived on January 4, 2019. During the wait I emailed customer service a couple times and received assurances that the watch would arrive shortly. It was about five months to in my hands.
I was concerned that the watch might be as untimely as the delivery, and I was suspicious that the let down would soon come; and, after an initial period of pretty good time keeping, I began to imagine that the sweep second hand was sluggish at the onset of the new minute, that some jagged action was apparent just past top dead center. This made me feel like there might be some stripped gears inside and that the thing would turn out a burn. It was all an illusion, or a hallucination on my part. When viewed with a loop the sweep was indeed tracking perfectly on the small second dial.
But I am getting ahead of myself. When it arrived I was very pleased with the fit and finish of the watch, the beauty was patent, but at 38mm it is smaller than my apparently indestructible quartz Brathwait Slim Classic (40mm, purchased May '16); and certainly not as slim, but decidedly thicker, or rather taller. (I really liked the thinness of my first Brathwait watch at a quarter of the price of this new Swiss Made Automatic.)
As a result, I did suffer some buyer's remorse; I felt the watch was possibly a vain and wholly unnecessary accessory--what was I thinking? But, I kept wearing the Swiss Auto, becoming very attached to it, and feeling incomplete without having it on. We endured, the watch and I without any deal-breaking issues, and finally I relaxed into the notion that the contingency period might not be violated by any fault of the golden, beautiful and complex timepiece.
The watch did slow down after some months and I reset the minutes lost on Sunday mornings, slightly irritated that the time was not spot on, but not about to return it for that.
Then, one day as I was getting dressed, I fumbled the watch, and caught it on my foot like a hackey-sack, and I put it on without a second thought. A half hour later I realized it had stopped running.
Pained, shocked at my loss, in my grief and horror (and in realization of my perhaps emotional over-attachment) I emailed customer service and told them I needed to make a warranty return. The jolt the watch received from my fumble felt like hardly an appropriate cause for refusing to run, or for declaring the event to the vendor.
Brathwait customer service sighed heavily on the other end of the email and asked if I was aware of the extended wait times for these hand made watches. I said yes and prepared to send it in (Veronica).
Instead, I took it to a demure watch shop on College Avenue in nearby Santa Rosa (not at the mall). The wizened watch maker looked it over, cleaned around the crown, opened the case, and gently gave the works a spin. The watch immediately came back to life and the watchmaker said after examining and inspecting it's wheels and motions, " ...this is a fine watch, did you drop it?" I explained my exceedingly tiny fumble, whereupon he proceeded to educate me about how the automatic can get a microscopic bind and stop the movement, at which time it just needs a minor service from a trained professional. It was true! (my joy ridiculous) I then complained that the watch was increasingly less reliable except finally it had arrived at the consistently dubious rate of four minutes slow per week. My new watchmaker put it on his accuracy sensor, adjusted various settings and watched his needle at the middle of the scope "...it's really good, but we can move this little regulation lever to speed it up a bit", showing me as he proceeded. It was a very small nudge. He told me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, the movement, and he thought it an excellent value. He said most of the broken watches with this type movement are not the fault of the time keeping parts, but that people roughly handle the crown when adjusting the time and date. He showed me how to move the time forward at the rate of a couple seconds per hour (around), never adjusting backwards; his assurance was "take care of the crown and stem and the watch will run indefinitely"
I paid my $15 service fee and bowed to my new friend.
I was much gratified that I purchased the genuine article from Brathwait, and the regulating that the watchmaker applied to speed up the movement was precisely what the watch needed to be extremely accurate. I haven't reset the time on it in six months other than for time changes and it's always close enough to perfect.
The contingency period is over. I've had my watch almost seventeen months, and I couldn't be more pleased with it; the little concerns I had initially now being completely assuaged by time, information, knowledge, and experience.

They stand behind the quality of their watches; highly recommend.
Update: I contacted customer service and they fixed the issues I had with both watches very quickly at no expense to me. I can only assume that I happened to get poor watches as they fully stand behind the quality of their timepieces. I wholeheartedly recommend buying from Brathwait.
Original review:
I had two of their watches. The automatic Swiss watch was great at first, but after 1.5 years of use it has stopped keeping good time and now loses about a minute a day. It has also gotten louder and the. ticking drives me nuts.
I also had their basic quartz watch which was silent and accurate until I went swimming with it and it got water logged. I had been swimming with it dozens of times before but this time it gave up the ghost and stopped entirely. I’m extremely skeptics about their marketing of “high quality watches without the retail markup...”

Hey Liam! Thank you for being a customer! I can assure you we pay a lot of attention to the quality of our timepieces, but as with any product as complicated as a watch there is a small chance something like this can happen. Both our Automatic and Quartz watches should withstand swimming and have been tested at depths up to 100m (328ft). Please reach out to customer service and we will see what we can do about your watches.
Thank you again for being a customer and have a wonderful rest of your Holidays!
Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Broken Brathwait but was offered replacement
I had a beautiful Automatic Minimalist for a little over 3 years and then it just stopped working.
After discussions with customer service and as it was not possible to repair it at a local dealer they are sending me a new watch.
Greatful for how it has been handled by the company!

Hey Christian! We are very happy you have enjoyed your watch, and thank you for being a customer! I can assure you we pay a lot of attention to the quality of our timepieces, but as with any product as complicated as a watch there is a small chance something like this can happen. The warranty is usually there to protect us from people misusing their timepiece and demanding a new one. It does not sound like this is the case with you and I have asked support to take another look at your case. They should be in touch shortly and hopefully you will give us a chance to fix this! Thank you again for being a customer and have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Issue got solved quick by good customer support
Issue stated below was solved quickly, I am very happy with the quality of their watches/straps and would fully recommend them after receiving good and quick customer support in the end - They solved the issue in less than 3 days.
Thank you brathwait
--- shortend version of initial issue ---
Ordered a strap for my brathwait watch which costed 31,49 euro including 5.93 shipping because my order was not high enough to qualify for free shipping. Received a letter from customs asking 42.96 euro tax. After asking DHL why it was so high DHL told me they did not declare ANY shipping cost (NOT EVEN A 0) and for that reason DHL applied the standard shipping cost of 92.22 euro for the calculation of the tax. So basically I have to pay tax over 123.72 euro.
After reaching out to customer support they told me that on the website they declare free shipping for brathwait items and for that reason did not declare shipping cost for customs even though my invoice states shipping cost.
I provided brathwait with the documents from DHL and customs.
Response from BrathwaitNov 29, 2019
Hey Adam! Not sure what has happened here, this is the first time we have ever encountered an issue like this with DHL on any international shipment. The shipment process is automatic and set up similar for all shipments by our distribution partner, so this seems like a fluke incident. Support might have not fully understood the issue, and we will of course rectify it so you do not have to suffer any additional costs for your shipment. Thank you for being a customer and we hope you will be very happy with your new strap! Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Finally ordered one
I came across the company on Instagram and finally decided to order a Brathwait watch because I saw a friend of mine wearing one and I wanted one. Ordered a watch and additional strap. Realized the strap was out of stock, emailed the company within 15 minutes they split my order so I can get the watch sooner while I wait for my second strap to come in. Can’t wait to wear the watch in a few days!

Hey John! You have good taste! Your watch will be with you shortly and we will get you your strap as soon as it hits our inventory!
