Using the Rush CMC splint has changed my quality of life tremendously. I have increased my grip strength; otherwise, pain would restrict my hand function. The only downside of wearing the splint is that it tends to shift with certain hand movements. And since it is made of molded plastic, it will dig into the space between my thumb and the rest of my hand causing discomfort and pain. I partially resolved this issue by wearing a thin fingerless hand sleeve or glove to try to limit the splint from shifting and digging into my hand. Your company ought to consider providing some sort of hand sleeve to wear to prevent the splint from irritating the hand and cause more discomfort.

I bought the brace on the recommendation of my doctor. I does do the job of stabilizing my thumb but I find it uncomfortable and after a while of wearing it, it hurts.
