Terrible ... I mean the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They screwed up and cancelled one of my orders on a limited edition cap. Then they still sent a worthless part of the order, the pin to go with the hat they never sent me. Then they want to charge me a restocking fee on the pins they screwed up on. The caps are poorly made with the size being off and the seams rarely being straight. Buyer beware.

Christmas gift from my daughter. Showed up today wrinkled and creased and not in a condition I would have paid any price for. (I have about 20 different scallys already. Customer service (🤷🏻‍♂️) told me I could get a steamer or iron it or put it in dryer. And if none of that was to my liking I could get a new hat (why would a new one be in any better shape) a store credit or lose 8.95 plus the 9$ it cost to ship. Sadly I will keep the Substandard product/ not made in Boston or USA and Ask my Daughter not to shop at Boston Scally Moral of the story Be Careful

My order was delivered and it was stolen at the mailbox. The post office told me to contact Boston Scally Cap because they insured the package and they need to file a claim for lost or stolen delivery. They would not do it and ignored my emails. Needless to say they did not care or follow thru with the claim that was needed…. Customer service does not help at all. I explained that I was a single mother and this was a Christmas gift for the only person who helps me which is my dad and I could not afford to purchase another cap. They still ignored me… 52.00 is nothing to them but to me it’s hard earned saved money and all they had to do was file a claim that there insured package was not received …. Why insure it at all if you’re not going to follow thru. My dad loves these caps and now I have no Christmas present for him… they just don’t care once they get there money

The cap I ordered looked nothing like what was listed on the website. Because I couldn't explain all the details or provide a picture (had already returned when requested) they wouldn't help me. Basically, it was a cheap, piece of junk that they made me pay to return. Lousy service when it came to resolving a complaint. Would not buy again.

Placed an order the first week of December. Paid for expedited shipping. Company states lead time of 1-2 days before shipping. As of Dec 18th no tracking activity. Reached out to Boston Scally and was advised the item had shipped. Reached out to DHL and USPS. Both state the tracking number is not valid as the item is not ready by the company. Emailed Boston Scally again and was told the item shipped. Requested them to reach out to shipping partner to figure out the issue. Boston states they can not reach out. Requested a supervisor and was told they can not make out going calls. Boston says wait another week. Shipping company now says the tracking number does not exist as the item was not shipped. Boston refuses to issue a refund or replacement item. I do not recommend this company at all!!! Will start filing complaints with BBB and other to get a refund.

Cap would have been fine if the logo inside wasn’t 3” across and printed in vinyl. As a bald man, this means that that whole area doesn’t breathe and if you do anything active then it just collects sweat. I messaged the company and their only advice was to cover the logo in powder. Premium price, mediocre product. Would definitely recommend that you keep looking for a better cap.

I’ve been a long time customer of Boston Scally Company and have enjoyed their hats, and have purchased 6 or so over the last few years. When I saw the Violet Rose edition I just had to have it. Then I noticed I could buy a cap pin to match so for $8 I’m all in. Today I open my order and couldn’t find the cap pin. So of course I check all the flaps folds etc of the cap itself as well as the box and packing material to no avail. Then I contacted customer support and their first reply is to check all the flaps, folds, etc of both the box and cap. I replied already did that. Got another reply asking for pictures of cap turned inside out, pictures of all packing slips, and on and on. I’m like really? For an $8 pin? I wrote back and said forget it and that they had lost a repeat customer, Their reply was only, if you change your mind and want to send us all that crap… WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!

RETURNED A CAP AND WASNT GIVEN CREDIT ON MY CARD. ORDERED ANOTHER CAP AND CREDIT DUE WAS NOT APPLIERD. I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER ANOTHER CAP, BUT CANNOT REACH THEIR WEBSITE CUSTOMER SERVICE . THEIR TELEPHONE NUIMBER WILL NOT GO THROUGH. THIS ALL SEEMS VERY ODD. POOR SERVICE
