The hat sizes are so inconsistent even when it is the same exact model hat. I'm on my 5th exchange now. I have had correspondence with the company via email multiple times where they send you gift cards for exchanges to use as store credit. They have sent me the same gift card code multiple when I needed different gift card codes for each hat. I finally got frustrated, and I asked them to handle it since I was having so much difficulty, which is what any business would do at that point. I emailed them again, saying I never received the extra codes and asked them if they would send them again. They wanted to die on some silly hill, saying that had sent them to me over again and sent me screenshots saying it was sent and saying that I used a different email in our email correspondence ( only one time) which was still part of the same email chain. I never got the codes, and the one code that I did get was sent over and over again. Not the other codes.Boston Scally, just send the code and quit arguing with me and trying to be right. This company has serious customer service issues and no consistency in sizing. I have hats in multiple sizes from them, but this is the last time I will order from them.

Caps are not the same colors as shown on the web site. I ordered a flat cap from the garden series that was blue in the web page picture but when it arrived it was a dull purple. They were kind enough to send me a return label but not credit the $8.50 I paid for shipping. I ordered a second cap from the same stand collection thinking this wold be better as the colors was berry and looked like a lite blue. I got the cap and this one is a dull green/navy in color, again not anything like the web page picture. So now I am out $17.00 in shipping cost and will just, disappointedly keep this one, but probably never buy another one from them

These hat's are ok at best but not worth anywhere near $50.00. Slow shipping, non existent service and so-so quality equals disaster. You can definitely find much better service and quality for the same price.

Boston Scally does a great job of marketing but it’s downhill from there. I’ve tried them about 3 times now hoping to be as wowed with the product as their ads. Unfortunately I’ve never been completely pleased with the product. Typical of “Chinese Made”quality is not consistent and neither is size. Last order I ordered on March 5 was hoping to get StPatricks themed hat to take on St Patricks Day Vacation. Paid with fastest shipping offered and hat took 10 days to arrive. I had already left so didn’t get in time. Returned and it fit poorly so wanted to exchange. The exchange they said is 30 days from “time of purchase” so really only 20 days as I didn’t receive for 10 days. They would not exchange. This will be my last purchase. I’ll look for a better quality Company to buy my hats.

I ordered the worker scaly tan. It arrived in good time and seemingly in good condition. It “looks” decent. However I discovered in the hidden tag that it’s made in PRC China. The fit was a bit loose for the size. I’m very disappointed in the misleading of where it’s “made”. I found the quality to be what you’d expect from a Chinese made hat which is mediocre. I’ll never purchase from Boston Scally Company again due to their misleading advertising and “American Tradition” quoting. Next time I’ll do better research on a company before purchasing online.

When you read food ingredients, the first mentioned is what there is the most, right? So when Boston Scally lists their hats as “wool, polyester”, I expected a wool like feel to a traditionally wool made cap. Was I ever wrong! There was no wool feel to the material at all. It was actually 90 % polyester! Now, they did refund me quickly, but the kept about $18.00 from my original payment. That’s a hefty cost for crap! Now, I did buy another WOOL hat for the same price, and FaceBook gave me the link. Now, Boston Scall, aka BS, look for more reviews from me.

My caps are still in transit, so this is about how they are sent, not about the product. Boston Scally uses DHL "e-commerce" to send their caps, and the company charges $10+ for getting the cap(s) to the domestic US customer in 7 - 9 days. I don't know why they use DHL, but the USPS would deliver faster, cheaper, and would provide tracking, too. Heck, Amazon Prime would get it to me the next day at no additional charge. Whoever made the decision to use DHL should be invited to join the rest of us in the 21st century.
