The company is very responsive to suggestions and they suggest workarounds when the software doesn't provide a ready answer to a problem. I am very satisfied with tech support and the program as a whole. Well done!

Thank you, Richard. When the software does not yet have a ready answer, a good workaround today and a real fix in a coming update is exactly how we want support to work, and it is good to hear it felt that way from your side.
Many of the suggestions we receive become features within days, so please keep them coming. Thank you for the kind words, and happy writing!

i purchased the BookyAI app from an ad on facebook and its great
i purchased the BookyAI app from a facebook ad and ive been using it for the last 2 weeks pretty much non stop although im only using local models my local models are designed specifically for long form story book writing. The support team have been great and the updates come almost daily which is great as it shows the team behind BookyAI are really trying to make a great app and they also take suggustions from the users which is rare these days and i really hope they continue
Response from BookyAISep 6, 2026
Thank you, David. Two weeks of near non-stop writing is the best compliment an app can get, and we are especially pleased to hear it from someone running local models.
Support for local, privately hosted models tuned for long-form fiction was a deliberate choice, and it is good to see it used exactly as intended.
The near-daily updates and the suggestions we take from users are not a launch-phase effort; they are how we intend to keep building BookyAI.
Please keep the ideas coming, and enjoy the stories.

They respond quickly to your support…
They respond quickly to your support questions. I had a small problem with a billing question. Alexander solved the problem in less than five minutes.
Response from BookyAISep 6, 2026
Thank you, Michael. Billing questions should never linger, and we are glad Alexander sorted yours out in under five minutes.
We will pass your words on to him; quick, personal answers are exactly the standard we want every support conversation to meet.
Happy writing, and thank you for taking the time to share this.

I wasn't impressed at first, but now...
I wasn't impressed at first. I got on a chat complaining to their chat support (it's AI but helpful). It tried to help me, but there was one thing that was really irking me in the app. It said, "If that's a deal breaker I can just refund you." I asked if they intended to fix it and it said yes but he wasn't sure how soon. Honest answer. I figured for the low price for unlimited books I'd hang in there, because it did show some promise but it needed some work.
I posted on their roadmap/wishlist board, requesting 4 different features. They implemented them all, one within 12 hours. They've been posting updates nearly every day, bug fixes, new features, etc., actually two updates on 9-1. I made another suggestion on the roadmap/wishlist yesterday, it's already listed as "In Progress."
BookyAI keeps getting better. I'm glad I didn't back out of the deal. I've cranked out 5 pretty good books (and one reject, lol). There are now 10 custom ePub styles and a design your own option. That alone is worth the cost.
It's not perfect, but they're on it for sure. I paid way more for 3 other apps, one of which was a total rip, one was less than impressive, one is pretty good. Even the good one can't export as well crafted ePubs as BookAI.
The reason for the 5-stars is simple. Though the app needs some improvement, they're tweaking it daily. They take suggestions and run with them, implementing them faster than any developer I have ever encountered.
UPDATE: To date, I have posted 15 requests for features, improvements and a couple of bugs (most of which were caused by my requests being fulfilled), and only one remains to be implemented.
UPDATE 2: They have now implemented 21 of my suggestions, and many more from other users. They obviously care what their users want and are willing to go to great lengths to prove it. Most software devs set up feedback channels to appear collaborative and progressive, with no actual intention of implementing changes; so suggesting a feature is tantamount to hollering into the void. BookyAI responds with action rather than lip service. They deserve 6-stars.

Thank you, Ron. This is the kind of review we would rather earn than ask for: someone who almost walked away, told us exactly what was wrong, and then watched it get fixed.
You have described our process precisely.
The roadmap board is not decoration. Every request on it is read by the team building the product, the good ones get built, and the fast ones ship within the day.
The four features you asked for, and the one now marked In Progress, are proof of that loop working, and we intend to keep it working.
Five good books and one reject is an excellent ratio, by the way. Thank you for staying, and keep the suggestions coming!

A wizard Software. Fully Automated. Recommended
from day one the support is super responsive and the software is super easy to use. it generate books like a wizard. I am so happy it saves my tons of time. i created 15 books within a day which was not that easy before. I don't need to formate. everything is automated.
I hope it allows users to directly post on KPD and automate the listing process using this software. Thanks alot.
Response from BookyAISep 3, 2026
Thank you for this. Fifteen books in a single day, formatted and ready to go, is exactly the kind of time saving BookyAI was built for, and we are glad the support has felt responsive from day one.
Direct publishing to KDP is a request we hear often, and it is on our roadmap. Amazon does not offer a public API for listing books, so it is not a quick addition, but we are exploring the options and will announce it the moment it is ready. Until then, the KDP-ready exports and cover sizes are designed to make the upload as short as possible.
Thank you for the trust, and happy publishing.

To be honest after 2 or 3 days i…
To be honest after 2 or 3 days i requested a refund and all i had was the run around with ai telling me thet submitted a ticket went on for days and i was pulling my hair out. I thought reporting them to uk authorities and contacting my bank for a refund . Something made me hesitate and i though to hell with this lets try working it and produced a couple of books but then realised the images were pay walled, but none the less i carried on AND i produced a few more books paid for image generation and carried on .WELL HERE I AM 72 BOOKS LATER. and realise if you perservere it works i have 72 books on kdp and last month had 1800 plus views . I am over the moon I didnt get refund and I will say this clearly it is one of the Best prog. I use and i got them all from videoexpress to who knows what . i will give them 100 out of 100 No question
Response from BookyAISep 3, 2026
Thank you for this, and congratulations: 72 books on KDP and over 1,800 views last month is a real publishing operation, built by you, one book at a time.
We also appreciate the honesty about the start. Those first days should not have felt like a runaround, and the support delays you hit back then are exactly what we have since fixed with a ticket system reviewed by the development team. You are living proof of what happens after that first hurdle: the tool works when you work it.
Here is to the next 72. Thank you for sticking with us!

It was an awful experience for me!
It was an awful experience for me!
I contacted support so many times when I was a customer. I was patient, but I kept on receiving the same generic responses. After two weeks of having no luck with the software - by the way, there should have been guidance for people who are absolutely beginners with API keys, as this is needed with this software - and going back and forth, I had to obtain a refund.
It was a waste of time, and I was truly upset with support’s generic and inauthentic support.
The software was buggy. There were hardly any descriptions, and the dashboard was minimal with hardly any guidance.
I received my refund, because I only had it for a couple of weeks, and I was unable to use it at all. It was a complete waste of my time.
Earlier today, it seemed I received an email from the CEO, attempting to explain the lack of support and how some people were slow in receiving their refunds.
I wrote back and informed them I had a negative experience. They then responded with another generic email (of course I'm no longer a client, but why did they write to me?). I then informed them that I had been sent an email. Subsequently, my message was blocked.
In hindsight, it was a one-star experience for me, and it looks like they're trying to clear up their image. No wonder a Reddit comment accused them of being scammers.
Proceed with caution.

Hello Taiwo, thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry your first weeks with BookyAI were frustrating.
A few facts for anyone reading. Your refund was requested and issued in full, as you confirm. On the emails: no message from you was ever blocked. The email you received came from our founder to every customer affected by a support backlog this summer, and your reply was answered because we answer every reply. If a later message of yours went unanswered, that was a failure on our side, not a block, and we would like to see it: write to support with the date and we will follow up personally.
You are right about one thing in particular: someone completely new to API keys should not have to figure that step out alone. That guidance was too thin when you tried BookyAI, and it has since been expanded in the knowledgebase and directly in the support performance. Support replies during that period were also too generic, which is why support now runs on a ticket system reviewed by the development team.
No software is perfect, least of all in its early months. BookyAI improves every week precisely because of feedback like yours, and the authors who stayed with us have seen that in the releases. We understand it did not work out for you, and we wish you well with your writing.

Incredible AI writing tool backed by world-class support!
As an author who has written multiple books using BookyAI, I can confidently say this platform is a game-changer for creators. The AI generation tools are powerful, intuitive, and highly effective at bringing stories to life. What truly sets BookyAI apart is their unparalleled customer service. Whenever I encounter a technical issue, the support team responds fast. They do not just send automated replies; they immediately open tickets that get escaled directly to the Head Developer for review. Knowing the technical leadership actively oversees user issues gives me immense peace of mind. BookyAI offers the perfect combination of cutting-edge technology and a development team that genuinely cares about its writers. Highly recommended!
Response from BookyAISep 3, 2026
Thank you, Michael. Several books written with BookyAI is the kind of track record that makes a review like this mean something, and we are grateful you took the time to write it.
You have described our support process exactly as it works: technical issues go into a ticket, and the ticket lands with the people who build the product, because a real fix is worth far more to a writer than a quick reply. Many of the improvements shipped in recent months started as tickets just like yours.
Thank you for the trust, and happy writing on the next one.
