Still waiting for my refund . In reply to your never finding my request I emailed you and your agents reply was FOR ME TO CHANGE MY POST REVIEW OF YOUR COMPANY IN ORDER TO GET A REFUND. What a COWARDLY MISTAKE THAT WAS!

Thank you for getting back to us, and I'm sorry our message came across that way. That was never our intention, and I want to be completely clear: your refund never depended on your review, and it never will. Here is what happened. Your original refund request never reached our support system, which is why you were left waiting and understandably frustrated. As soon as we saw your review, we contacted you by email to sort it out. Our team hoped you might update your review once the problem was solved, but it was only a request, never a condition, and we should have worded it much better. We have now found your purchase and processed your full refund today. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. If you have any question about it, simply reply to our email and I'll personally make sure it's handled.

It was not user friendly

Hello Joan, thank you for telling us, and sorry BookyAI did not feel easy to use. We would like to know where it got in your way, because that is exactly the feedback that shapes our updates. If you are willing to give it one more try, open the live chat inside BookyAI and mention this review: Alexander will walk you through your first book step by step, at your pace, from the idea to the finished file. A few minutes with a guide usually makes all the difference.

I purchased the product along with the ghost writer license and one other bonus. I received the welcome email with the link to access the platform. More than 48 hours later the system does not recognize my email address. I tried to enter a support ticket, but that requires the email address their system doesn't recognize. I've emailed twice for help and haven't gotten a reply. As of now, I have no way to request a refund as all contact methods either require the email I signed up with (that they don't recognize) or are autoresponders from boxes that do not get read. So far, customer service is non-existent. It's actually kind of bonkers that I'm filling out this review from an email they sent me to solicit a review lol

Hello Rob, you are right, and we are sorry. We found the cause: your payment went through, but our system failed to create your account and issue your licenses afterwards. That is why the platform did not recognize your email, and why the support form, which checks for an account, locked you out as well. It was a fault on our side from start to finish, and there is nothing you could have done differently. Your account and both licenses have now been created manually, and you can log-in now at https://members.bookyai.net We are also fixing the two things that let this happen: a check that every payment has a matching account before the welcome email goes out, and a support path that never depends on an email the system may not recognize. Thank you for telling us plainly, even if it had to be through a review request. That was not the experience we intended for your first day with us.

It was an awful experience for me! I contacted support so many times when I was a customer. I was patient, but I kept on receiving the same generic responses. After two weeks of having no luck with the software - by the way, there should have been guidance for people who are absolutely beginners with API keys, as this is needed with this software - and going back and forth, I had to obtain a refund. It was a waste of time, and I was truly upset with support’s generic and inauthentic support. The software was buggy. There were hardly any descriptions, and the dashboard was minimal with hardly any guidance. I received my refund, because I only had it for a couple of weeks, and I was unable to use it at all. It was a complete waste of my time. Earlier today, it seemed I received an email from the CEO, attempting to explain the lack of support and how some people were slow in receiving their refunds. I wrote back and informed them I had a negative experience. They then responded with another generic email (of course I'm no longer a client, but why did they write to me?). I then informed them that I had been sent an email. Subsequently, my message was blocked. In hindsight, it was a one-star experience for me, and it looks like they're trying to clear up their image. No wonder a Reddit comment accused them of being scammers. Proceed with caution.

Hello Taiwo, thank you for the feedback, and we are sorry your first weeks with BookyAI were frustrating. A few facts for anyone reading. Your refund was requested and issued in full, as you confirm. On the emails: no message from you was ever blocked. The email you received came from our founder to every customer affected by a support backlog this summer, and your reply was answered because we answer every reply. If a later message of yours went unanswered, that was a failure on our side, not a block, and we would like to see it: write to support with the date and we will follow up personally. You are right about one thing in particular: someone completely new to API keys should not have to figure that step out alone. That guidance was too thin when you tried BookyAI, and it has since been expanded in the knowledgebase and directly in the support performance. Support replies during that period were also too generic, which is why support now runs on a ticket system reviewed by the development team. No software is perfect, least of all in its early months. BookyAI improves every week precisely because of feedback like yours, and the authors who stayed with us have seen that in the releases. We understand it did not work out for you, and we wish you well with your writing.
