* BEWARE** BEWARE** DO NOT BOOK! I book a trip from Book Vip, and the costomer service was the worst ever they told me that i could not travel with Someone i Knew, meaning me my husband and another couple. What is that about they book your trip take your money then tell that, after they took your money then charge you a fee for canceling that how the are making there money, then the hold your money for 10 bussiness days. So they charge $728 then call me back and said the i need to pay $1800 dollars more...REALLY ! FRAUD

Hello Vina,
Thank you for feedback. The reason why the packages are up to 70% off is because the resort's are sponsoring the vacations in exchange for meeting the eligibility requirements. The resorts set the requirements not BookVIP.com We go over the terms and conditions with each customer on the phone which each customer signs electronically before we ever process the charge. Most of the resort's do not allow for group travel which is covered in the Terms & Conditions.. However, please email me tomorrow at [email protected] and I will personally look into this issue.

Ridiculous
I bought a vacation package for my husband and I for valentines day. When I called to book the dates they told me that I was not old enough to book through them. I am 28 and my husband of 6 years is 29. There is also a minimum income requirement to book through this company. PLUS you cannot be a full-time student. I am a graduate student getting my masters in nursing, which is something I am very proud of, but to them, I am just a partier because I am in school. I found my dealings with the agents to be very rude and their attitude to be very flippant. It was almost as if they did not even want to talk to me because I was "underage" and unqualified. Now I have to go tell my husband that we can no longer go on this vacation after it was a gift. I am VERY unimpressed.

Hello Teale,
Thank you for your valuable feedback. All our of promotional packages are up to 70% off because the sponsoring resort is subsidizing the cost of the room in exchange for you meeting their eligibility requirements which differ for every special hotel offer. Unfortunately, BookVIP does not set the qualifications. However, we do list the Term & Conditions at the bottom of every hotel offer on the web site. I do apologize we we were unable to accept your business and had to refund you. It definitely should have been explained to you better on phone and issue we will correct. Being the fastest growing travel company is no excuse and again thank you for the feedback. You can contact me at [email protected]

Do not book with this company!!!!!!
I booked a vacation to Cancun with Book VIP. I Never received a confirmation number for the hotel. After numerous calls telling me that they would be calling me, I canceled my reservation. I have yet to still receive my refund. I have called numerous times and am assured that my reservation has been canceled and that my money will be refunded, I still do not have back my money!!! I ended up booking my vacation with another travel company and have had nothing but an execellent experience, unlike at Book VIP. This place is a scam, be warned they will take your money and you will get nothing but a headache and hassle!!

poor help
I am single and know most of these are for couples. But I was told at times there are single packages. We'll I have been sending messages to find out and for someone to answer. But no answers or replies. Now to find out that they have blocked me on Facebook or kept me from sending messages. To me a company shouldn't do a can be customer like that. You are supposed to be able ask questions. But no worries I want be sending messages any more. At least someone could have replied to my comments I sent and questions.

Hello Lashon,

BookVIP does not set the qualifications. However, we do list the Term & Conditions at the bottom of every hotel offer. Many of our resort's do indeed accept singles as well. I apologize if you werent able to reach us on Facebook as we have exploded from 200,000 Likes to 2 Million Likes is only 8 months due to the overwhelming response of our offer, it's simply impossible to answer every comment as each post receives 50,000 comments per day. BookVIP has exploded to become the fastest growing travel site in the world. However, If you wish you can contact me at [email protected] and I will be happy to assist you and make amends for any inconvenience.

Pulled the old "bait and switch" trick after 4 people there mislead me
I don't normally accuse of intentional misleading, but when 4 different persons at a company tell you "X" but then do "Y", the chances of all 4 people making the same "innocent mistake" are so slim that I believe BookVip intentionally deceived us by having us pay for (and supposedly book) a better, larger room, but then actually provide us with a lesser one and refuse to even discuss the problem. (Because of our situation, with young children, our room set-up and size matters more.) You call there and talk to "robots" reading off a script in broken English. Horrible. I've filed a BBB complaint, and I have audio recordings which confirm what they did. They made zero effort to correct the situation after I brought it to their attention - literally appeared to either not listen at all or not care at all, it was bizarrely awful.

Gets all the information before checking room availability
I saw a advertisement on Facebook showing a good deal and made a reservation on web site, providing credit card information. After all, the site said I need to call there for confirmation. I called them, and they asked me age, job category and title, and the company I work for, annual income, etc. Getting all those information, they asked me to wait until they contact their inventory manager for the availability of the room. Guess what. No room left! Ha! They should be able to know this at the beginning before asking all those questions.. Wow, I can't imagine what kind of company this is. Can they earn money by getting such information?
> adding response to the response from the site. They are saying that their items are so good that they can be our of stock during the questioning process. My question simply is why can't they check and hold a booking for a while during the questioning process. That will save their time and clients'.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate all feedback.
The vacation packages offered by BookVIP are amazingly affordable because the resort partner is paying for 70% of the cost of these promotions. Due to the limited number of packages available, the resort partners set forth certain eligibility requirements to ensure that the packages are enjoyed by the guests for whom they are designed. As the booking company, BookVIP must ensure that all guests are eligible for the promotional packages before reservations are made and sent to the participating resort provider.
As you can imagine, these promotions sell like hotcakes and as a result, every once in awhile, the participating resort discovers that the rooms have been over-booked. Therefore, the reservations are honored on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Each of the Terms and Conditions, are also disclosed over the phone before any transaction is completed and each customer would need to agree in writing to these Terms and Conditions prior to any billing. Because this process was not completed, you never had a reservation with us and were not charged.
All credit card information entered into our system is automatically encrypted and secure and is not accessible to anyone. Additionally, since you did continue with the reservation none of the information is saved.
BookVIP has thousands of happy travelers every week, and has more video testimonials from happy customers than any other travel website in the world. Please refer to http://bookvipreviews.com/.

DO NOT USE BOOKVIP!!!!!!
Here's a response I sent to BookVIP when they asked for my feedback. I had paid for a $499 deal to Cancun, and after all taxes and fees were added, the price I paid was $612. I booked and paid at least a month out. What followed was an aggravating nightmare (almost every day for an entire month). Here is my response:
"BookVIP is horrible. You guys will never get a good review out of me. I lost track of how many calls, emails and texts you sent me claiming that if I didn't call you back immediately, I might lose my reservation. I made a dozen or so calls back worried about my reservation only to be told that nothing was wrong. Why would you idiots keep sending me messages like that??? I even hit "STOP" on the text replies and you still kept sending me text messages!!! I even talked to your phone reps and told them to make a note not to call me anymore!!! You guys suck.
Worse yet, you guys tried to rob me of an additional $100. For an entire month you kept stringing me along, telling me to call you (then only to tell me that nothing was wrong with my reservation), but when I was only hours away from boarding my plane, you guys called me one more time and said I still owed $100 in hotel taxes and fees!!! Why would you wait until the last second to tell me that?????? I argued with two phone reps and a "supervisor" who finally told me I could "settle the balance with the hotel". I hung up very angry. When I arrived at the hotel, I brought this up. I paid my vacation in full, even confirmed that I had a zero balance with the hotel, yet I have a phone message from you saying that I owe the hotel fees of $100. Even the hotel had no idea what you were talking about. F**k you guys. Don't ever contact me again. I will be sure to destroy your reputation as best I can as a "booking" agency."

Dear Greg,
We appreciate your feedback.
First and foremost, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience and stress resulting from the manner of communication provided by our Customer Service agents. As the fastest growing travel company in the world, we sometimes fall short of our goal, however we are constantly looking to improve. Thanks to your review, we are currently reviewing our text message procedures.
All qualifications and restrictions, as well as any additional resort fees, taxes, and/or deposits which may be required by any particular resort are contained in the Terms and Conditions for each package. The Terms and Conditions are reviewed with each guest during the sales call and the guest must agree to same by electronic signature before the reservation can be finalized. The Terms and Conditions are also located at the bottom of every hotel/resort offering page on our website.
That being said, we would just like to speak to you in order to apologize and try and make amends. As I mentioned, we are growing company and not always perfect, however, we do our best to try fix any issues to avoid in the future.

Sales person lied and bookvip won't refund
Sales person said that my fiancée and I qualified for package even though my fiancée had attended a sales presentation over twelve months prior. This was part of the qualification process on a RECORDED call. We bought the vacation package for $548.90. Flew to Cabo and during check in while scheduling the meeting for the sales presentation the next morning they asked us as part of the qualification process again if either of us had ever attended. We told them yes about my fiancée. Now that we were in Mexico we didn't qualify according to them. Ended up finding an expensive room at another hotel at 10 pm at night. Bookvip' answer to this is that we accepted the terms and conditions email that stated somewhere in the fine print that neither of us could have EVER attended a presentation. Shame on us for not going over the email terms and condition with a magnifying glass. SHAME ON BOOKVIP FOR LYING TO US ON THE PHONE WHEN WE BOUGHT THIER WOTHLESS OFFER. Buyer beware!!!!

Dear Randi,
We looked into this matter and found that you confirmed on both the recorded sales call with BookVIP, and on the recorded Welcome Call with Sandos resort, that it was your first time visiting the resort.
It was not discovered until you arrived at the resort that you had previously toured the property and as a result, were in violation of the Terms and Conditions governing your vacation package.
Our special promotional packages are sponsored by the resorts and the rooms are discounted up to 77% because the resort is subsidizing the room. The resort sets forth certain eligibility requirements for these packages.
All qualifications, resort fees, taxes, deposits and penalties are clearly stated on the Terms and Conditions governing each vacation package – everything is written in a normal business font and easy to read and understand – not fine print.
The Terms and Conditions are located at the bottom of each resort offering page on our website, and are reviewed with the customer during the sales call. The customer must accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions via electronic signature before any reservation is final and the travel dates sent to the resort.
Indeed, In addition, it is clearly stated (in normal font) on the Terms and Conditions that
You are not eligible if you have previously attended a presentation at Sandos].
BookVIP could not have known that you previously attended a presentation at the resort.
That being said, we have made several attempts to contact you to discuss some options you may be interested in and await your response.
We send over 300,000 people on vacation per year and have more customer video reviews than any other travel site: http://bookvip.com/sitereviews.
