We stayed at London Paddington Bob W in the Original Studio – Kitchenette, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing and not what we expected from the listing. Firstly, the photos online only showed one style of room, and our apartment looked completely different. We were really looking forward to the room based on the photos, so it was disappointing to arrive and find that it had a completely different look and feel. Secondly, the listing states that a gym is included for free, but you aren't told the location of the gym until after you have booked and paid. The gym was around a one-hour walk away from the property, which was completely impractical for us. Had we known this beforehand, we would not have booked the accommodation. Lastly, the "kitchenette" was extremely limited. I understand that a kitchenette isn't the same as a full kitchen, but this had very little functionality. The fridge was so small it could barely fit one meal, the sink was tiny to the point where washing one dish resulted in water going everywhere, and there was no oven or stove — only a basic microwave. For a stay where having a kitchenette was one of the reasons we booked, this was very disappointing. The positives were that Bob W's communication was excellent. Whenever we sent a message, they responded very quickly and provided helpful recommendations. We also appreciated being able to book a room clean during our stay, which was convenient. Overall, though, we found the listing quite misleading, particularly regarding the room appearance, gym access and kitchenette. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not book with Bob W again.

The host prides themselves on hygiene but I experienced the apartment being less than basic clean: - scale very visible on the black faucet and the soap shelf - hair ( not mine..) in the corner of the shower. …even though I’d paid for the earlier check-in time…the apartment ought to be spick and span upon my arrival…. - kitchen cupboards doors stained/not clean -> easily noticeable in daylight. -also there is not really like a bigger shelf to put all you stuff on, so you might need to bring with you a hanging toiletry bag. I have a feeling that I had stayed in an overpriced * hotel that caters itself as modern, designer and luxurious:/, Well, never again, this was my first and last stay at Bob W.

A really nice stay. I booked again. Then they sent me an invoice from my last visit. After two months. And for something I did not order and was not been made aware of before. It was like blackmail. Pay or you cannot stay again. Never experienced anything like this before. Ruined my next visit. Avoin this hotel.

Review of Bob W Hotel, London We recently stayed at Bob W Hotel in London as a group of four, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. One of the couples in our group was given a seemingly fine room, but they were unable to sleep in it due to severe plumbing issues. The noise at night was so loud that it made sleeping impossible. We contacted the hotel multiple times, but no real help was offered. They simply told us there was nothing they could do, meaning our friends just had to “live with it.” It’s deeply problematic that a hotel/apartment hotel cannot assist guests properly when issues arise or offer an alternative room to ensure they can actually sleep. Additionally, we were promised an adapter in the room, so we didn’t buy one in advance. However, upon arrival, there was no adapter. It took four days and 12 calls back and forth before we finally received one, and even then, only half of our issues were resolved. As compensation, the hotel refunded 50% of the cost for the unusable room, which we found inadequate given that it was literally impossible to sleep there. Overall, we can only recommend this hotel if you’re willing to take a 50-50 gamble on whether your issues will be resolved.
