I found the site a little difficult to…
I found the site a little difficult to navigate but was able to communicate with potential buyers. After one renewal of my add, I found a buyer and was able to make the sale. The site was successful in finding my buyer and would recommend it to others looking to sell a boat

Failure to provide buyer leads and no response to request for support
I was informed buy a potential buyer that found me on Facebook Marketplace that he had previously saw my boat on Boat Trader and had sent a message but I didn’t respond. In reality, I never received a message through the Boat Trader system from him. He actually showed me the message but there was nothing on my end. I raised a complaint with Boat Trader but got a completely off topic response. When I followed up again about my issue I never received a response. This is unacceptable and I will never use Boat Trader again.

The search feature and the criteria…
The search feature and the criteria selections made it quite easy to locate several boats that fit my preferences. We ultimately purchased a boat that we located on the site.

Boat Trader app is difficult to work with when selling your boat
I didn’t like how I was unable to go in and modify my cover photo as sale pending from my phone. Also, it is difficult to edit and format the boat’s description.

The latest version of the Boat Trader app allows sellers to edit their listings directly from the app, including updating photos and making changes to listing details. We're also continuing to improve the listing management experience based on feedback from sellers like you.

Better communication from Customer Service
Better communication - we spent a lot of money with our listing to not sell our boat or even get more than 1 inquiry. The boat was NOT showing up in the search and we contacted customer service MULTIPLE times with no help. We ended up selling our boat off boat trader. Customer service is TERRIBLE.

Easy to place ad with pics
Easy to place ad with pics. Buyer contacted me through boat trader portal. Everything was great thank you boat trader
