I sold through Facebook marketplace absolutely no contacts or inquiries from boat trader. I should receive a refund

We noticed photos weren't added to your listing until a few days after it went live, photos are key to getting views, so even a short delay can impact early results. Our team also sends out listing recommendations to help boost performance, as we know how important an optimized listing is.

Open the door to Con-Artist
I’ve been the recipient of two fraudulent offers. Your format is open to too many con artists pretending to be buyers. I almost lost $3,000.00 on one of them. I will not use boat trader after the way it’s happened.

Boat Trader does actively monitor for suspicious activity and works to identify and flag scam attempts when they're reported or detected and we encourage all suspected fraud to be reported to [email protected]. Boattrader communication limits with app and website
It was hard to communicate with potential buyers when the ONLY way your site allows communication is via the msg app. Buyers mentioned that they entered their email and/or phone contact info when sending a msg to me, but were surprised when I told them their POC info isn't shared with sellers. After 4 weeks of trying to sell my boat on your site, I finally had to add a line in the boat description that told boat 'shoppers' that I didn't get their POC info from boattrader.com site so they should include an email or cell # to allow me to answer their questions or coordinate a FT showing of the boat. It finally paid off, but not after a LOT of missed opportunities

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Messages sent through the Boat Trader platform don't automatically share a buyer's email or phone number with the seller for privacy reasons, one of our priorities is a safe and secure platform. We're glad you were able to get your boat sold.
