With in the first 2 hours of re listing…
With in the first 2 hours of re listing our boat we had a gentleman from Kansas reach out and I answered a few more questions he had and sent him more pictures and videos that I was unable to post on BT. He did not make it down to Texas in time to purchase it. Another young couple who were local purchased after coming to see the boat in person. This all happened within a week of re listing.

I liked the security of the Boat Trader…
I liked the security of the Boat Trader platform. But way Overpriced. The boat was sold via a free platform. I did get 4 replies from Boat Trader, unfortunately they were all attempted scams. Exposure is primary, use as many sites as possible, maybe invest in Boat Trader when the free ones returned no sale.

I tried to edit my ad and NOTHING
I tried to edit my ad and NOTHING. I completed the contact form to address the issue. CRICKETS! This is horrible customer service. In other words; Customer service is non-existent. This is almost laughable. They responded saying that they want to help and that they needed additional information. OK, where do I send it and why didn't they respond with a support number or a contact e-mail. Like I said I filled out a support form and heard nothing. Now even in their response I am not getting any closer to support. They need to revamp their system.

Very easy
Very easy to place the add and photos. Price seems reasonable and I sold my boat in less than a week.

Marketplace is the Way to Go
Marketplace is the Way to Go I think general society has moved away from the specialized listing locations. Traffic on Boat Trader was minuscule compared to the traffic and interest I received on FB Marketplace, where the boat ultimately sold. Not to mention, FB Marketplace cost $0 to list.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for the delay in reaching our team. During periods of high call volume, calls may be directed to voicemail, but our team works to return those messages as quickly as possible. Upon checking our records, it looks like our Customer Service team was able to connect with you after your review, assist with your account, and issue a refund. For your reference, Boat Trader listings are set to automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off, and we send reminder emails prior to an upcoming renewal. Sellers can also turn off auto-renewal through their account at any time to prevent future charges. We appreciate your feedback and are glad we were able to get this resolved for you.
