There seem to be a number of comments regarding misleading information on expected delivery times. I am among those who paid extra money for fast shipping and my order status has said it's awaiting UPS pickup for a week. I doubt that's actually true. I have also already been charged. Will not be a return customer.

Placed a order on Monday and paid extra to have delivery by Friday. Received email notice that order shipped on Thursday but couldn’t get confirmation on delivery date until Saturday (today). Delivery date is Wednesday which is too late to perform the service work for the coming holiday weekend plans. I am very frustrated that Boats.net set delivery expectations and couldn’t deliver as expected. I took extra time to validate the difference between “order processing”, “shipping” and “delivery date” with my order prior to submitting. Boats.net has cost me a week time now waiting to find out I need to source parts locally and figure out how to now perform service in time. Called Boats.net customer service and they said they were “sorry.” I will be returning the entire order and sharing this experience with as many people as possible in hopes to prevent others from same terrible experience. Boats.net stocks parts, processes orders, sets delivery expectations and ships parts. This is simple, setup business processes to meet the expectations you set or DON’T set the expectations.

I have bought from Boats.net many times and have had a good experience. Helpful staff, average delivery times etc. The past 2 orders however, I have placed with a customer service agent. I was told over the phone that the parts were in stock and would ship out within 24 hours. One part I needed quickly so I even added the 35 bucks on for next day air. This was a Monday and the agent said it would be in my hands by Wednesday. Then I got an update to my order saying that I wouldn’t get my part til June. Unacceptable! You should have a better system in place to know if there is a part actually in your inventory before you tell a customer you have it and it will ship out. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

stop selling products you don't have!

The only reason why I bought from them was so I could get my boat done for the tournament this past weekend. Their website says ships in 24 hours for the items I ordered. I paid expedited shipping with the mind set that it ships in "24 hours" so I would have it by the weekend with expedited shipping. 5 days later and it has finally shipped! I don't need expedited shipping now. The tournament is over! Thanks for the honesty!

I have been trying for over a month and a half now to buy a outboard motor. I have called, left messages,and emailed this company. I have not received any replies. Does this company exist.

The web site says ships in 2-3 days total crap I am on day 6 and still not shipped they said will refund my shipping cost, they lied and did not do it. Im pissed just want my stuff and no lies tell me the truth. 3 times said it will ship today still waiting

I placed an order on April 7th. Commercial account, customers waiting, everything on the order was in stock. On April 11th it still hadn't been sent so I called and paid extra for next day air. I expressed the urgency to have the order by April 14th, and was promised delivery by then. I called again on April 13th, now very worried (still no shipping label made), and was again promised it would arrive the next day. Finally, on April 14th (today) a label was made. Expected delivery is on Thursday, April 16th. This company is not worthy of your business, and will never again have mine.
