bait and switch
After ordering got a e mail telling me that all parts were available and going to ship out on Monday. On Wednesday I still had not gotten a confirmation that order was being shipped. I emailed company explaining that the order had not shipped and that i was counting on the parts for a customer of mine to be able to go on vacation. I was was told oh ya half of your order is in and the other half will be in any day. I explained that it was very important to get these parts as soon as possible and that i would need them sent over night. At this time I was talking to a supervisor and was going to be charged a extra fee to send overnight. I got charged a extra fee and when i got my shipping confirmation it was 3 day ground shipping. My money was refunded, not to my account yet but I wasted 3 days emailing back and forth and they were very slow to respond and after all this my parts will not arrive in time for me to fix my customers boat for them to go on vacation. If I knew the parts were going to take so long to get to me I would have ordered them somewhere else. Boats.net wasted a week of my time and blamed all of the problems on web site updates. they were not will to work with me at all and could careless of my experience or whether I was happy with there service or would ever shop with them again. I almost feel like they purposely did not ship over night cause I made it extremely clear how important it was to get my parts overnighted. To say the least I will never do business with them again and would recommend that you don't either. They are careless and bait and switch. I can tell you now you will not receive your order when promise they will always tell you they are available when they are not.
