They could not be worse. I was ordering 3 made to order boat fender from Taylormade and they had they were cheaper than west marine. After six months of pushed back delivery dates I called Taylormade to find there was no order. They do not do business with Boat ID. It took another month for them to finally send me a check for my money back. They will flat out lie about anything.

My name is Gabor Zoltan Bekesi. I am from Hungary. I have ordered from boatid.com a folding steering wheel for my Bavaria 38 Cruiser made by Lewmar. I was reading the reviews on the internet after I placed and paid my the order. The truth is, that after one day I started to worry, so I wrote an email to boatid. They reacted me almost right away and informed me what was the status of my order. Today it is 5th of July, I placed the order on the 25th of June. Today I received the ordered article in a perfect packing. It had traveled at least 7.500 km passed customs clearance etc. and now I have it. I can only say and write positive review about Boatid. Thank you Guys for your perfect job. For sure I am going to order other parts for my sailing boat.

STOP! I neglected to read the reviews before ordering a product from BOATID. They shipped a huge box to the billing address, not the shipping address. The product was damaged. I shipped it to the correct address. They refuse to compensate me for the shipping charges or replace the damaged product. I am out $2,000.

Just received my refund for the wrong parts took 30 days total. boatid a phone call from you could have avoided the whole situation

I'm OUT $3000 with no guarantee of an expedient refund and wish I had come here to read reviews, prior to making a purchase. I though that I had done due diligence, prior to placing and order. Bottom line: They LIED to me about stock levels and LIED to me about being a US-based Company. This is a Phillipines-based drop-ship company, staffed by customer service agents working from their homes. The last person I spoke with from Boatid, had ROOSTERS crowing so loud in the background, that it was distracting from the conversation. Battling to get my money back now. If I could give less than one star, I would. TERRIBLE...STAY AWAY!

Scam company!! No telling how many times they have gotten away with it. Ordered a ladder bracket, they said it would ship in 2 or 3 business days. After several phone calls and over a month no bracket and no money returned. Horrible and dishonest company!!

I ordered a Minn Kota motor from these people. I called, they said they had one in stock, so I ordered it. Then I get an email with a 3/3 shipdate (a week out), then I follow up on 3/4, they are waiting on manufacturer to confirm shipping. The manufacturer has been out of stock a while, I knew that, that's why I confirmed it was in stock. They LIED, took the money (which I'll cancel), just to get an order and they knew exactly what they were doing. DO NOT buy from these people.
