Pros: Good interest rates, no need to purchase special token for higher returns, insurance, ACH transfers. Cons: Limited free withdrawal (one), delay in withdrawal (12+ business hours), watch minimum withdrawal requirements. Know the limitations, and Block Fi is a good place hold coin. I would like to see up to 3 free withdrawals per month, they could even make it a function of the amount deposited.

Initially I had a bad experience during the withdrawal process. There was a large fee in relation to my withdrawal however I was contacted by Ben from BlockFi and I was credited back nearly my whole fee and we got round the issue. Will be using in the future.

I am pleased with every aspect of the products and services offered except for the fact that your interest rates keep falling. Linking bank account is much easier than other crypto currency sites.

Thank you for the fair review, Ron! We appreciate all feedback.

Can't connect my bank account through the Plaid network. My bank is part of the network.

1. I do really love this platform 2. Really wish this wait for the CC didn't take so long 3. Plaid doesn't connect to my bank which is frustrating and forces me to buy on Coinbase Pro and transfer over - costing me twice as much in fees :(

Lowering interest rates recently was disappointing. But instant availability of funds and increasing deposits was great.
Response from BlockFiJun 24, 2021
Hey Mario, thanks for the fair & balanced positive review. The interest we pay is based on the yield that we generate from lending crypto to individuals as well as institutions. The recent update to our rates reflects current market conditions and enables us to maintain a healthy and sustainable business model while continuing to deliver high-quality, long-term service for our clients.

Sold governance and a good track record of managing liquidity. Keep an eye on the terms of monthly interest rates, which can change dramatically. The problem comes when you try to withdraw your money. Contrary to the ethos of crypto it feels more like a traditional bank taking Blockfi days before tokens are transferred out.
Response from BlockFiJun 16, 2021
Hey Graham, thanks for the review! Please note withdrawals are subject to a security hold and processed the next business day after that hold clears. This security hold is in place to protect our clients against fraudulent requests and to allow clients to cancel their request if the destination wallet is entered incorrectly. It also gives us time to ensure that the assets are being returned to the correct individual and that there is no suspicious activity. While we acknowledge this may cause a slight inconvenience, it is important to balance between speed & security.
