I want to like Blockfi more than I do but there are a number of limitations/issues that cause concern. - while Blockfi says it does not charge trading fees, EVERY purchase I have made for BTC & ETH have gone through above the spot price. Is Blockfi charging a premium? - there is no charting feature or ability to place a limit order at a set price. - while earning interest in BTC is a nice feature, does it offset the risk of not holding my own coins? - I have sent one or two questions to Blockfi via chat that have not received a reply.

IF IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE MORE LANGUAGES OTHER ENGLISH...

I love this platform but the fees are too high.

Pretty great service thus far although the wire transfer sent a week ago hasn’t arrived yet and my bank can’t do anything about it as they say it’s on the senders end to check. Have the fed wire number but can’t do anything with it. Hoping the delay is because of holiday weekend. Time will tell. I had initially intended this to be a usdc loan to buy crypto but in the loan application it only asked for bank info and there was no place to request Usdc loan. If I could suggest that option when you fill out application I think that would be helpful Gonzalo has been great but can’t help with the financing part of things.

BlockFi is an interesting concept. I had issues with account setup. I got emails to verify my account, but when I logged into my dashboard there as no way to verify. Email responses from the help desk eased my concern when I learned this was a bug. The platform shows promise but a maturation process will have to unfold over time.

As with all companies they stared with their BS policies...switching to NEXO & LEDN.... Great crypto saving rates....US based & insured.....extremely slow withdrawal speed (they must be a bank & using our $ to cover fractional reserves with the delays).... I haven't borrowed against my assets so cant speak to that but saw others here are not so pleased... All in all, a good company to HODL with....

The site itself is secure, deposits are fast. The withdrawal process is def not as reliable or fast as others.The other problem is they recently changed their 6% APR on BTC from up to a mere 2.5. My main issue was they did not even send out emails or notices or news articles saying they did this so I was losing out on interest from higher sites (NEXO, Youhold,etc). They can send emails about news events hyping themselves up but I do not trust any company that reduces your rates without even mentioning it to you or trying to pretend it didn't happen by not reporting on it.

Good luck when things go wrong. Reached out to customer support and I had to push them to honor their deal. *Which they eventually did. *Updated from 2 stars
