I had a horrible experience with Blink in getting a refill. My insurance initially said it was too early for a refill so I called the insurance company to explain I was out of Miebo. I didn’t know if too many drops came out or why I had run out early. My insurance said they would approve the refill today if the Blink staff would call and get an override number. I called 2 times early this morning and did a chat to try to get this accomplished and Blink did not contact my insurance today for the refill like they said they would. I guess they are going to make me wait until 8/2/25 when the insurance first told them they could file. That means I will be out of my medicine for 6 plus days when the insurance was set to refill today. Terrible customer service.

My MD sent in an Rx for Qlosi Qty:60 BID(2x/Day) 1 month supply, which cost $119. All was well and I was happy to get the medicine. I received a text a month later asking if I'd like a refill. If so to press "1". I pressed “1” and they said your refill will be sent. They sent me half of the refill for the month at the price of $70. I called and asked why they only sent half of the medicine and they couldn't explain it. I said to her I pressed “1” for a refill. Nowhere does it say they will only fill half of what the MD ordered. To do this is actually illegal. Ive worked in Phrama for 20 years and never seen a pharmacy do this without patient or MD authorization. When you refill a drug its expected that exactly what the MD ordered will be filled unless requested otherwise(Qlosi is still on Patent BTW so you literally can’t edit it whatsoever). They said sorry your going to have to pay another $70 if you want the rest of this months meds. Thats $140 vs $119. As you can see now its a scam to get more money out of the patient. I asked to speak to the pharmacist or a manger and the women said they wont be able to help me and I'll have to pay the full price. You need to pay for a whole another order of 1/2 of the months prescription. This is not just outrageous and unethical, it's actually criminal. I will be contacting the Missouri Board of Pharmacy to lodge a complaint. If this has happened to you I suggest you do the same. After a lifetime or working in healthcare as well being an OM(10years), a Manager at a Major Pharmaceutical Company(where I stock specialty pharmacies, take product orders, & physical visit the pharmacies), a father who works in Adverse Events for Pharma as an MD, and another family member who works as an MD for the FDA . They both have NEVER heard of something so outrageous, in fact both said it was a criminal violation and the pharmacists/pharmacy's can lose their license to operate. See below were I filled out the complaint.
