BlinkReviews of blinkforhome.com

There outdoor cameras display ip65 rating. This rating offers a level of water resistence applicable to rainfall. "blinks description- can withstand a few drops of water". Do not buy if you want to use outdoors they do not honour the warranty. I had water ingress in an outdoor camera, after asking for a replacement the above comment was sent to me, and that they are not suitable to be outdoors in rain !. Go for HK vision !!!

The system is fairly good if you are willing to pay the relatively inexpensive subscription. One issue is that it only allows recording for short stints. Someone breaking in? You'll see them for 30 seconds before it shuts off. Hope they show their face. This review is about their warranty for the devices. We bought the system at Costco in AZ. Paid the subscription which warranties the product while you have the subscription. After awhile the the cover on the motion sensors on the outdoor cameras became brittle and disintegrated in the sun. I called and they told me that the warranties were void because the temperature the cameras recorded was above their operating temperature maximum 113 degrees fareheight. That is a normal summer day here in Phoenix. Why are you selling them in Phoenix then. They are useless outdoors as any moisture will ruin them. The customer service is farmed out to the Philippines. Lou condescendingly and arrogantly acts like she is the head of the Blink legal team speaking ignorantly and without comprehension of what is being explained to her. As it's been mentioned before Amazon who Blink is partnered with or owned by has not allowed reviews on the blink products on Amazon unless they were purchased through Amazon. This was two systems $200 ea. What a shame you won't stand behind your products. Time to look for a quality product or at least a company who will make it right when their design has a flaw. You have lost a customer who had recommended you to many people through my company. Would have continued if you had been a great company. Instead I will have to warm against use of this product and doing business with Blink.

Blink cameras are total crap and if the cameras are crap, customer service is even more crap, starting with the supervisor, Mr. Cides, who doesn't fix anything or resolve anything at all. Imagine if it's good that when they ring the doorbell when I come in, he stays reading and I can never get in and he also notifies me very late. and the technicians don't know how to solve anything, starting with the famous little supervisor

Great little camera, however I didn't realise that I'd have to take out a monthly subscription for it to continue to save clips after the 1 month trial. Pretty useless to me now. I'll just leave it on the wall to make people think I've got a functioning camera. Might as well have bought a dummy one out of the Pound Shop. Amazon has stopped people leaving reviews for it. I wonder why!

I had one of the old blink cameras that was subscription free and it worked ok, not great picture quality but passable seeing as there was no subscription. During the Amazon sale I bought two more outdoor cameras assuming they would be the same as the one I have. Well they were for a few days and then they didn’t work. Only useable with a subscription now on the newer models. I feel scammed. I threw the lot in the bin. I’m going to invest in a quality camera security system now that I won’t mind paying a subscription for.

Well, their sync module sucks. Let me tell you right now! I’ve had nothing but problems with it. The first one I bought I tore up because it’s been compromised because the back of it is somewhat exposed. To expose all the components. Any child can put something in there and tear the heck out of it. Well, I bought another one with that said I thought because I would buy a so USB for it so that my videos could be stored and I don’t have to pay the ridiculous three dollar fee every month so I can view my videos but wrong. I can’t even do that. This subscription of course, is going to be much easier than my USB and it’s not like you guys don’t make enough money off your products to wear. You can’t make it to where I can have access to my own videos? For free? After I paid, $100 just to buy the system and you’re going to milk me for another $36 a year? geez. Corporations are going to drain this country of every dime we have , and you’re going to milk me for another $36 a year? I live off disability. G thanks I would like to congratulate you guys on being another greedy corporation.

Had a problem after changing Internet provider. They responded to an email for help and kept the support up and came up with the solution. They have also in the past replaced the door bell free of charge. Great customer service. This time from Pan, in customer support. Cameras are good definition, very happy to recommend.

We have had blink for two years and have had continuous connectivity issues and now it just won't connect at all. A worthless product. Do not get!
