I have had blinds from Blindster…
I have had blinds from Blindster before. This was a clear design flaw. The clasp on the right side was facing inwards but if the screws were off in the slightest it would not open to allow the blinds to open. It took me about 5 hours to get it installed. The video also did not go over how to install different brackets and the written instructions lack clarity for the clasp type that was ordered. The cord to pull the blinds open also is not easily removable and the plastic portion that attaches to the wall is not removable unless I break it. So I cannot use a motor that I already have.

Hi Rose, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that you encountered difficulties installing the shade and tension device and that the available instructions did not provide the level of detail you needed for your particular bracket configuration. Please know that our team is always happy to provide additional installation guidance, including product-specific instructions, videos, and troubleshooting assistance if you reach out to us directly. We want to help ensure the installation process goes as smoothly as possible. We'd also like to clarify that the tension device is a required component for the proper installation and operation of the shade. Additionally, modifying the shade to operate with a third-party motor or altering its original design will void any applicable warranties and guarantees. A member of our customer service team will be reaching out to you separately via email to discuss your experience further. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at 888-256-8672 or visit https://www.blindster.com/contact-us. Thank you for your feedback.
