Disappointed
Horrible Customer Service
As a cybersecurity conscious person, every online company I do business with has their own separate email address at my domain (Especially smaller companies that I do not trust to have good cyber hygiene). This one, B***P**** (Dare I say their name or they will think I'm violating Copyright law or DMCA) canceled my order and threatened legal action just because the email address I used for my order with them happened to contain their name in it. (Like I said, everyone gets their own email address so I know who's been hacked or sold my information). I've been doing this for years with many companies much bigger than B***P**** that have absolutely no issue with this, and they also understand Copyright law. Anyway, they refuse to reply to my email that calmly explains how they are wrong, and they do not answer their phone or return phone calls either. So I guess they have a bunch of young kids who think they know everything working customer service that just think they can get away with anything by using some legal jargon that they have no idea what it means and actually subjects their company to potential legal actions by providing false information. I've never had an issue with other small businesses before, worst that has happened is a company will make me call in to verify my email and my identity, but nope B***P**** didn't even bother, just immediately canceled the order and started threatening legal action. I'd absolutely love to see the look on their faces when they try to send this to their lawyers and their lawyers tell them how dumb they are.

Per our website's terms of use order acceptance policy at www.blauparts.com/terms-of-use, we choose to cancel orders that contain/use our registered trademark(s) (i.e. Blauparts®) in the email address for the security of our customers and to prevent attempted email phishing scams impersonating our company with the use of our trademarks. We do not threaten immediate legal action for violations, rather failure to discontinue use of our trademarks are forwarded to our legal department for review. We encourage customers to use normal email addresses when placing orders. Additionally, the IP address associated with your order was flagged by our credit card merchant’s fraud detection suite as being associated with previous early fraud warnings and previous credit card disputes. These high-risk fraud factors combined with the unauthorized use of our trademark in the order’s email led to the cancelation of your high-risk order and account per our terms of use order acceptance policy.
