I wouldn't recommend this website to anybody. The price is way to high and the volume for my business sell has been close to nothing. Horrible platform in my opinion. Save your money.

I've experienced just about every complaint on this site with Bizbuysell, both as a buyer and a broker. And just recently I broke one of their "rules" regarding messaging sellers/brokers - a rule I wasn't aware of - and because of that they have banned me from the site for life. For life. That's a little severe in my opinion. But, since I've had the same issue as others regarding lack of responses when I inquired about businesses for sale, I guess I'm not really missing out on anything. My advice for buyers/sellers/brokers is to look somewhere else. This company cares nothing about people, just about raking in money and providing no real service.

This company has ignored my concerns about why certain sellers are permitted diamond listings while sellers like myself are denied for some reason. There should be no favorites or specific people allowed as exceptions, rules should be rules and errors should be corrected when spotted. "Kate" which seems to be the only contact at the company I can reach whether I call any number or email any address, has completely ignored my concerns and refuses to correct the listing issues. My company has spent close to $4000 with BizBuySell yet no one will help me. On my most recent inquiry about the listings (which resulted in no help at all), almost immediately afterwards my most successful listing was taken down for stated reasons that were already approved and cleared beforehand. This was after using our 1-time (extremely valuable) email blast, so people receiving the email ended up going to a dead link. I'm EXTREMELY MAD. This is very coincidental and was cleared by the time before, why is my listing being taken down when it was already approved? I have cited sources of MANY other listings with text and logos which still seem to get listed for months with no issues, yet nobody in the company decided to flag/fix them and ignore my concerns despite it being against the very rules they flag my listings for. This gross oversight on moderating and what seems to be unfair favoritism, or perhaps outright laziness, is astounding considering the companies' size and employee base.

I’ve never felt so disrespected and humiliated in my life and I wish this was from the customer service representative. No, this was from his supervisor, and I wish I was at all rude disrespectful unclear on understanding. None of those things I was I was very understanding I was very kind. All I was trying to do was respond and explain the situation. He cut me off and said no matter what you say nothing will change you will not get a refund. You are lucky I even called you, I don’t even want to even explain the situation to you guys and how crazy it is that they robbed me and convinced me to get another listing and promised me a refund and when I called back, they said oh I apologize we cannot give you a refund, so why did you make me get another listing I was told make the listing Purchase a new one and we will refund other one because there was a situation where the system on its own canceled I was not able to explain what happened. I made a purchase of a listing for three months for $800. I did not know they promised me a year and then after two days it was canceled. I did not know it was canceled. They sent me no email when I check my account. It says everything is good. It is so ridiculous I cannot believe, the government has not charged him with federal crimes and then it automatically renews my account four times while the listing is canceled so that’s 800×4 when I called I went insane because of the way they spoke to me and then one guy told me I promise you this is the stuff you take go ahead purchase the same mustang with the Sim card after you purchase it we will automatically send you a refund I gave and I did that so I spent another $800 I’m waiting for my refund he calls me randomly and says I’m sorry. We actually cannot do this. It was a mistake and I’ll top of that. I cannot even get the refund for the listing they made me buy this as a joke I can I don’t know what to do. They destroyed my family. I lost my business because I cannot keep up with the rent while the business was closed. I could have for my family with this money. My wife left me my kids think I don’t love them I’ve never been through this in my life all because of the website and I have no one to complain to.

This company is not clear about their “monthly” billing. If you start a “3 month” trial, it’s actually a year. And by the way, it automatically renews EVERY YEAR, and if you don’t catch it, you’re screwed. They claim they sent an email prior to the yearly renewal saying my contract was going to renew, however, I can’t find it anywhere, not even in spam. I kindly asked them to let me cancel the contract since I’ve paid them $2000 for one listing over a year and a half and they said, sure, for a $500 cancellation fee!! I guess we know how they’re making their money off of us unsuspecting agents. Call before you do anything with them and get the facts!

WORSE COMPANY EVER!! MISLEADING AND STOLE $539.70 OF MY MONEY. WON'T GIVE ME A REFUND AFTER 3 DAYS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
