I've had pretty good experiences with Bitwarden. My only issue is how intermittently their browser extension seems to work. There have been times where it just wouldn't load, so I'd try it on a different browser, and it would behave the same. So I don't think it was my browser specifically. But that's not much of a complaint in the grand scheme. One more thing is that there was a bug for a while where the extension behaved very slowly. I reported the bug and they responded thanking me for the report and it was fixed fairly quickly. This was back in Dec 2024.

IIch bin vom Google Passwort-Manager zu Bitwarden gewechselt, da der Google Passwort-Manager in Sachen Sicherheit nicht mehr ganz überzeugt. Insgesamt bin ich mit Bitwarden sehr zufrieden – besonders was Datenschutz und Funktionsumfang angeht. Was allerdings wirklich verbesserungswürdig ist, ist das Autofill auf dem Smartphone: Bei manchen Apps wird das gespeicherte Passwort zwar angezeigt, aber nach dem Tippen darauf nicht automatisch ausgefüllt. In solchen Fällen muss ich Benutzername und Passwort manuell kopieren und einfügen. Im Vergleich dazu funktioniert das Autofill beim Google Passwort-Manager deutlich besser, da es direkt ins System integriert ist. Hier sollte Bitwarden auf jeden Fall noch nachbessern.

It is not possible to contact Bitwarden by phone in case of a problem. I would be much happier if they did. However I recently notified them of a problem, and I got an email reply within a couple of hours. This said they appreciated my patience during a ' server-related matter' and indicating that it had now been put right, There wasn't anything apology though.

All in all an excellent product and an excellent company. The company has to tackle some very technical issue and for many introduce new concepts to the end user, they do a moderately good job at this. More tutorial videos would be helpful. Their support department though was exceptional! I Needed to buy the family plan but didn't read the details correctly and accidentally bought the wrong subscription, (premium). I thought I was screwed. My mistake buying the wrong thing, I should have read more carefully, really it was on me, but I contacted support and they immediately understood the problem and issued the refund without question, and they did it very promptly. Very impressed with BitWarden. I am recommending them for my work department and for my whole company.

I like that they listen to the users and add features that are actually useful. The free release still allows syncing over internet unlike others.

Bitwarden is dependable and the recent issue that hindered saving the user's email address for login purposes has been resolved. Unfortunately, the logout upon browser restart feature is not functioning in the Edge browser.

Great product. Not expensive. The "Send" function is a great tool to share sensitive documents/info. The customer service is fast an efficient.

I really like this tool. I use it several times a week and I share it with my wife for some common access, which is very practical. Thank you.
