Skip Bitwarden in favor of any other password manager. It's impossible to cancel my account. After 1 week of emailing back and forth with multiple customer support representatives, they require that you click a link within 1 hour of when they send it. But they give no indication of when they're going to send it, so now I need to monitor my email 24/7 to accommodate their schedule. Update: I was able to escalate my ticket to a manager who was able to cancel my account without this expiring link.

It’s a good product in and of itself, but it’s poorly marketed because the one-click experience is inadequate, which leads to a rebound effect of disappointment... First of all, it’s a cloud solution; second, it’s much more complicated than expected and therefore confusing until you can actually use it. From that perspective, I’m not aware of any advantages it has over other similar solutions...

I've used Bitwarden for years, until now I should have left a 5-star review, but in recent months I've noticed a slow down in my browser performance, and it's Bitwarden's extension to the browser. There's lots of proof if you read GitHub comments, but more notably web editing - Beaver Builder (used by millions) in WordPress is reduced to a crawl because of BitWarden, on reporting it seems to be slightly dismissed. Weeks gone by, no sign of a fix... so I'm off to try out other password managers.

Potenzialmente un ottimo gestore password con integrazione browser, applicazione sul computer e possibilità di gestire più di un profilo dall'interno dell'app. Non lo preferisco perchè sono assenti i contatori o delle statistiche sui gruppi e sugli account, cioè non puoi sapere quanti gruppi hai creato e quanti account web hai inserito, quanti siano presenti in ogni gruppo.

Support is really, really great. Against the incredibly modest price they ask for premium, it's a steal. Easily 5 stars if it wasn't for a 3-months lingering bug in the desktop client where it's unclear whether your password is actually saved,with risk of an account lockout (not bitwarden lockout. See github issue 12022 for both problems).

Funtionierte vor den Updates 26-28.0125 noch einigermaßen. Jetzt nur noch zum ärgern, weil die Browser Extension nicht mehr mit Fingerabdruck funktioniert. Wenn man vom programmieren nix versteht, sollte man die Finger davon lassen. Update 30.01.2025: Nachdem ich in Firefox die Erweiterung von Bitwarden deinstalliert, und den kompletten Cache geleert habe...gehts jetzt wieder. Ein Kundenhinweiß wäre im Vorfeld sicher sehr nützlich gewesen, um diesen Ärger zu umgehen. Ich erhöhe wieder von 1 auf 3 Sterne
