I signed up with the Black Friday deal but never received anything. I messaged Birchbox on Facebook months ago and never got a reply. I’m pretty sure I emailed them too! Ultimately this isn’t their fault as their company shouldn’t still be pushing marketing so hard when they have hundreds of orders which haven’t been fulfilled (or compensated). Maybe they all quit? I would have done. Looking at the comments about the products they include it doesn’t seem like I was missing much anyway.Would advise to avoid this company at all costs!

Got my first Birchbox day, I was very disappointed. The size of the box is small than a A5 peice paper, I know they aren’t meant to be full size but many aren’t even sample size, why they think it is worth £13 I’ll never know. Making it worse is that as a student I have 50% off and because I knew you got a free gift as well I thought it was well worth it, however this was to be good be true, I never got my free gift and when I asked why I got a message saying “you had your student discount instead” but no where did it say either or? Also the delivery is awful. I ordered this box over a fortnight ago and it only just arrived, I thought I’d been scammed how long it was taking but then I finally got a email saying it was on it was but it was still going to take up to 5 days, on the 5th day it came and now I’m sending this rubbish back!

When I first started Birchbox I loved it. I like trying new things and I looked forward to seeing what I got. After 6 months I became a VIP member which has proven to be a waste of time and not seeing any benefits. Only seem to treat new customer rather than loyal ones. Cancelled my subscription but thought I'd give it another go for the January box because of my birthday but received nothing for my birthday and February's box has stuff I already have.

Une amie aux Etats-Unis a pensé bien faire en m'offrant un abonnement. Quand j'ai contacté les services en France et les EU, personne a pu trouver le dossier, même avec les numéros de référence sur le colis. Je suis écolo-au-fond et zéro déchet. Le greenwashing me dégoûte. Mon amie m'a dit qu'elle allait essayer d'annuler mais je viens de recevoir un mail pour le prochain colis. Quand j'ai reparlé de cette histoire, Toky (Njara n'est pas mieux) me dit pas possible. Ils trouvent pas le commande, MAIS ils refusent de l'annuler "belle journée ". Boycott.

They can have issues when they get high demand for a certain box, customer service needs improving, having ordered the 2 for £5 Black Friday boxes I had a long wait due to demand, I wasn't informed of any delays but eventually they turned up and was well worth the wait. I've had a few boxes now and although hit and miss they are wonderful and you get to try some really amazing things. I've tried Spacemasks, soaps and other full sized items as well as some useful samples. For £10 I can't complain! I've had the last 2 boxes delivered within 2 days of ordering. I find unsubscribing and resubscribing when there's a box you like works better to avoid disappointment. But like I said, I enjoy trying so many different beauty items and recommend.

I thought I'd give Birchbox another go as I was offered a half price box. The first box I had just contained various sachets of products.I was equally disappointed with the January one. I won't buy again, regardless of the offers, not unless it's a free box with free p & p. I'll stick with Glossybox from now on. I can't understand the good reviews.

Terrible customer service don’t resolve issues or respond to enquiries

Unacceptable. Ordered 3 month subscription pre Christmas to be delivered before Christmas and has still not arrived. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!
