I was skeptical about Biome Secret, especially with its price point. But after crunching some numbers, it hit me— about $100 for a month of lunches isn't bad, especially when eating out. Reading the nutrition facts reassured me further; there's nothing fake in there. Plus, I can't ignore the results. I feel better and have slimmed down a bit. So, yeah, it's worth it to me.

I bought these shakes to lose weight and have been using the vanilla one for about 3 weeks. I initially lost 5 pounds quite quickly. Because my weight fluctuates I decided not to weigh myself every day and instead use an end-of-week number. I'm feeling great. The flavor is really good and quite natural. There is no significant aftertaste and I am full for 3-4 hours after I drink a shake. I'm using the shakes to limit my calorie intake.

I lost 20 pounds over the course of a few months. Honestly after the first few days your body starts to feel healthier, so it is easy to keep with it. Very good taste for chocolate.

Update(2) After posting my honest review, Biome reached out to me and offered a refund of the unopened package without making me return it. They also explained again that because this is a food product, even if the individual packets aren’t open but the main package is opened they can not accept it for return, which makes sense. Update: customer service informed me that not only can the package not be opened, but that it can only be returned to the Germany facility, so if you live in the U.S., the postage will cost about half of the refund you will receive. Original review: I researched this product for a while, read reviews and looked up ingredients and finally made a purchase. I received my order timely and I made my first shake today... the taste was not for me at all. I found the texture to be very gritty (and thats after blending it in a Ninja) it has an overly sweet flavor. So, I have requested to return the unopened bag as well as the other 14 packets(comes in a bag containing 15 packets and I purchased two bags) however, in reading deeper into the return policy it states they will only take back unopened packs in the original shipping box. So beware, once you open it you are stuck with it. It would be nice if they could come out with a “sample” size portion for purchase so that you could try it out before diving into a more expensive version but I am assuming the shipping cost would not make that economical.
