Disappointed
After trying the shake as instructed, I developed stomach cramps and experienced diarrhea the entire day. I tried both flavors (chocolate and caramel vanilla) on different days with the same results. No thanks!! Also asked to return and can only do so if master is unopened and is shipped to Germany.

The product is great if you like gritty shakes. I use a Ninja blender and the texture is terrible…nothing smooth about it. The company’s refund policy/money back guarantee is very misleading. You can’t return the product once it’s opened to try. If you don’t like it, you’re out of luck and money. Bottom line, buyer beware!

Regarding returns, our policy - like most food product companies - is designed with safety and health regulations in mind. Once a master pack is opened, even with unopened sachets remaining, we’re unable to resell it or accept it back due to food safety standards. That said we are 100% open to receiving unopened master packs, in the event that a customer purchases more than one and opens one at a time. That said, we genuinely appreciate your feedback. Be aware of the refund policy. You cannot open the package of 14 packs to try and if they make you sick due to the sucralose/sweetener, you get no refund, not even a partial refund. over $100 lost on product I cannot use.

I purchased both the chocolate and the vanilla. I really wanted to like this and after reading the reviews I thought I would. The taste is horrible for both flavors. Probably due to the sucralose. It also gets very gelatinous which is gross. I even get sick to my stomach just thinking about it right now. I read so many reviews about this tasting good and that it doesn’t have any aftertaste well that was determined a lie. Unfortunately because I’m located in Pennsylvania and the fact I opened both flavors I can’t return them. Do yourself a favor and find another meal replacement, you’ll thank me later!

What we have heard from some customers is that it helps to slowly transition into using the shakes, for example: 1. Begin with a half a portion first, and eventually work your way up to a full portion as your body adjusts to receiving this level of good nutrients. 2. Start with a shake every-other day until your body adjusts 3. In the beginning, it may be helpful to have a baseline layer of food in your stomach prior to drinking the shake - which can help regulate your stomach acid. To make it easier, we recommend having this as a lunch, after a light breakfast. The light breakfast should help coat your stomach and help with bringing your body to the level of nutrients provided in each shake. I hope these tips can help at least a little bit! The vanilla caramel shake tastes like crap. Probably one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. The return policy on this product is pretty much nonexistent. Once you have opened one of the inner bags or even the outer bag, they won’t accept a return so basically you’re stuck with it. Honestly, I’d rather be overweight than have to drink this meal replacement shake.

Every palette is unique and ultimately we understand that it is not possible to make a taste that will leave everyone satisfied. Biome Secret shakes are loved by many for their clean and simple ingredients, but there is no guarantee that it will match everyone's taste buds. We also have some flavor enhancing suggestions based on feedback from other customers: 1. Some customers enjoy mixing in both a banana + replacing 1/2 of the water with almond milk. They find this changes both the texture and the flavor a bit. 2. Some customers prefer the shake to be super cold, which can change how we perceive texture (almost like a slushy). For this, we would swap 1/2 of the water with the equivalent amount of ice cubes and blend. It can make our brains feel like we're drinking more of a milkshake and it can be helpful for some. As for returns - we value transparency and this is why we suggest that customers begin with a smaller order for a single shake pack to try and see if they will like it before buying in bulk. We are 100% welcoming of unopened master pack returns and provide a full refund on those that are received back at our warehouse. Literally cannot even force myself to drink this sludge. Very chalky and terrible aftertaste that I cannot put my finger on. Leads me to believe all previous online reviews were paid for. $55 down the drain. Like previous reviewer (Susan), same experience. Did all preliminary research. Please save yourself the money- this meal replacer is disgusting.
